I was thinking the same and did many laps in the GR010, but couldn't even get close to Silver, tried the R92CP and the C9, closer but no sigar, but the 787b did the trick, 3,28,327, don't know if it will hold for Silver in the end though.

But at least I got some good practice with the GR010 before sunday's race. 🙂

I struggle with all TT recently using all cars...
So I don't want to see my results @half_sourly 😂
This will be the third out of 4 TT where I don't get a bronze as I'm nearly 10 seconds outside in 25,000 something place (which means many are slower than me!) (hoping to get a bronze at Willow)! I can't be the only one?
If they wish to keep these TTs popular, they need to make them accessible sometimes, in my opinion. If too many people never manage to get bronzes, they risk them giving up these TT altogether. Having doubled the TT output (a very good thing), I feel like they shoot themselves in the foot if they alienate (pun intended) average players.

Really struggling with the Fugu Z at that ridiculous backwards circuit. I'm at 0.006 off silver, but I keep messing my laps up. Anyone got any pointers on how to keep it all together for a lap?!

This LeMans TT is super fun. In gold on all three accounts with what I believe will be safe for even the slowest. Best one (#3) being a 3:23.5. That lap felt pretty good but there's room there. All three in the Sauber. It's cool that a 'new' car is viable in Sport Mode.
Still hanging on by a thread on the Nissan one, will definitely be revisiting that.

Found a new favorite car for the Le Mans TT and that is the Porsche 962 C. Set a new PB: 3:22.215 which I believe is currently the #1 time in the world in that particular car.Still losing some time in the last two sectors so 3:21 should be doable.
Is there something that makes this car favorite other then getting things done, or this is the typical situation where you date a girls only because she wants to date you?

I tried the 787B, but can't seem to get it working. Fastest is only mid 3:25...more than a second slower than my time in the C9. I seem to have trouble slowing it down at a few corners for some reason

The track limits at La Sarthe are just...
!! Mostly the two chicanes on Mulsanne, though I do sometimes get dinged at the final chicanes. I wish PD would have the option to show a "track limits line" so you can actually tell when you cross over. Because I swear it feels like it varies from one lap to the next.
I ran over 100 miles tonight and completed only 3? clean laps. My best was a pickup of 8 tenths from yesterday, to 3:24.137, but there were mistakes made. I did have a lap where I crossed with a 23.7, but alas, it was for naught thanks to a penalty I picked up in the final chicane. Infuriating.

Hey guys, I am going to be moving later this month, so I'm having to sell my TV, ps4, games and smartphone to come up with the money to move,buy new food/supplies,etc. I won't be able to buy another ps4 till my birthday in September, so i'll have a 3-month hiatus. I am trying to get your PSN id's so I can better communicate. And to see any of your replays on certain TT's, Daily Race Qualifying,etc. i only managed to get bronze in the SF Autopolis TT. So that's allright, I wasn't expecting to get gold anyway.

Does the previous TTs were easier ? I don't think so, and @half_sourly's stats do not seem to contradict this impression, but I might be wrong, I am doing TTs since february or march.
I am not a good driver, yet I manage to get bronze with a few laps of training and often after watching a lap guide like those of @Mistah_MCA (event though his breaking points may not match as I drive much slower)
I also search for ghosts with lap time around my target and set them to reset next to me if I am to slow, it helps sometimes
Did not bronze the last Nurb one, but I did few complete laps as it is to stressfull for me to stay focused that long.
Bronzed Willow and I will not try to do better as I am not fan of the combo.
Bronzed Le Mans and I'll try to get close to silver, yet I doubt I can reach it.

Managed a 3.25.009 in the 787b today - this thing is the definiton of "slow in, fast out", but might have to try the c9 as well. Hoping gold doesn't come down too much as always, but I feel like I'm gonna need another half second to be safe!

Did a few more laps on Le Mans (6, that puts my lap count to 12). Watched @Mistah_MCA's lap guide to take notes. In my first laps I've tried to go full throttle where he goes flat-out, to no avail, it has sent me gardening into oblivion 🤣
On my lap 2 I've did a very good sector 1, by inadvertantly cutting some corners, but the resulting penalties did not help when it was time to repay them...
Progressively did a mix of the possibilities shown by Mistah (in terms of abusing the track limits or flat-out sections) and my own abilities.
I'd say that the GR010 brakes way worse than the Porsche 919, but it may be entirely due to my driving.
Here are the laps and sectors.
On my final lap I've managed to get 1.3s advance at the start (before Tertre rouge) and lose all of if by the time I've arrived at Arnage.
Then I've managed to find more than 1s back to improve my previous best lap with more than 1s.
As the optimal is at 3:32, there is plenty of room for improvement...

Session B this morning, i was awake early and was in need of coffey, so fired up the PS4 and jumped straight into the Sauber, I must say that I wasn't matching my session one 787B times but after a few laps I was very close, but those damn tacklimits are hideous 🤣....
I have some trouble with the Sauber in low speed corners were you want to exit in 3th, but I'm a fraction to slow there, it will bonk down a bit and the C9 has some trouble to rev up then, but had one kind of descent lap with a lot of room for improvement, not the pretiest lap, but did the job for now 🤣

Practice , practice, again and again....is the secret. At the start I was 3'30 and by dint of driving and driving (1000 km on the clock at the end of the day 🥵🥵🥵 !!!!!) I lowered my time and went to 3'27.
By dint of doing it you will find the best place to brake at the chicanes to be able to come out with the accelerator at the bottom. My time I did with the DS4 and there is still room for me to improve it.

Yeah, I did that a few times exit in 2th....... 😭🤣, I have seen al 360 degrees multiple times 🤣🤣, it just escalates so quickly then, and TCS doesn't realy help for me, so for now This seems to be the way to go for me, but I will try different cars 😁Too too strong !!!! 💪💪👏👏
