Honestly kind of like how they've limited the Gr3 cars available. Wish they would do this in Dailies (ie, eliminate AWD cars from a Gr4 race or VGTs from a Gr1 race). Once again, the TT people actually trying whilst the Sport Mode people not so much. Gotta give credit to where it's due!

I legitimately forgot about scenarios like these, where it seemingly says the event is for "Gr.3" cars, but actually has a more specific selection. I'm actually glad to see the narrower focus for this new event, seeing how we've had a time trial that featured all Gr.3 cars at Spa-Francorchamps before.This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Happy New Year folks! Can’t complain anytime Spa is used for a TT. Had a run in each of the three cars this morning. Gold in the Supra and the NSX. Will take another look at the Nissan but it seems the slowest of the three. Don’t understand on a BOP’d event like this they couldn’t adjust the cars to be a little more equal.

Anything GR3 at Spa and you can call it heaven for me. Always love these combos. Next goal is a sub 18 😁. Happy lapping folks!

I think gold is easy on this one, just brake and coast. I personally don't enjoy this circuit but apart from the hairpin the rest is just braking early and carrying the speed.
You can do it, just don't tense up and try to hard, brake early and come off them (I don't mean 20 meters early just before Tigdnys markers and that is more than enough.

Really try-harded this, and boy was it frustrating. Just random understeer in fast corners. Need to try again some other day, have to calm my nerves with some drinkies…

First of all, Happy New Year guys. May this year be an awesome one either in our digital tracks or in our real lives. 👍🏻
Spa is definitely not a strong track for me. (Actually not many tracks really are 😅). I recall I didn't gold the Gr3 TT last June and also missed the yellow reward with the Honda RA 272 1965.
Despite of that gold is unlocked (barely though). I guess I have lots to learn about this track.

Not much time today to blast around Spa, but when the wife hits the shower......🤣
Did around 5 restarts again and the fifth run was finally flat out at Eau Rouge without Tracklimit violation 🤣
Still figuring out which corners to take in 2nd and 3th .... so this needs some work but I doubt this one will "grab me" but we will see.
Fun to drive a NSX for a change 😕🤣

I've been meaning to share my time on the RB Jr. time trial. Spent first day (was off work) grinding it and was just BARELY within silver. Was dumbfounded. Tried again next day but was about .2-.3 slower than first day! Short stint next day and same. Took a few days away from the TT. Decided to try again, but this time I studied about 3 top lap replays, focusing on braking points, gear selection etc. Did about 4-laps and marginally improved my time, which had slipped to bronze, back to silver. Still a long ways off gold and I just couldn't understand why...
Determined to get gold, I went back in. Before I crossed the starting line all of a sudden I looked my tires... well what would you know lol LAST TIME I USED THIS VEHICLE I PUT ON INTERMEDIATES!!! Switch to the racing tires, go back in and within a 4-laps I was well within the gold time!
Sooo make sure you check your tires lol (why do they even allow the selection of those tires knowing no weather changes??)
P.S. - Y'all are such fast drivers! I think I had my highest ever finish recently (like the 5k range) and I was STILL # 11/24 on my friends list! (Edit: Actually my highest finish was 1,200 - wayyyy back when they had the 1st van in the game on Autopolis - but my point stands lol)

The random understeer of the NSX is really annoying. I just can't get the car to stay neutral at all. Currently at 2:19.8....it should hold, will see if I feel like giving it a go again 🫠

Well well, using @Tidgney ghost helped me get a good run on my 3rd lap at Spa, what a lovely combo, now we have a doubl whammy of Honda NSX TT's this week, shud be fun to crack the JGTC NSX laptime. So far i'm doing ok with timings, need more patience to counteract the RH tires bad understeery habits on certain corners at spa.

Har har. Rubbish gold in the GTR. It's quite hilarious we've a choice of 3 cars and yet the BoP is still absolutely horrific between them.
Feels like it's in a completely different class to the NSX. A shame, really. I think it'd be funnier if it didn't reflect the half heartedness the entire game seems to suffer from.

Day 1 and I'm already frustrated. 
I was routinely running 39.0's in sector 1, but not on my fast lap. Then I got in a touch too deep into the final chicane, which compromised my exit. 2:18's were in the cards, just not tonight.

I have somuch trouble using more 2th gear exits cause my brain wants 3th 🤣
I have a love/have relationship with this NSX sometimes it rotates......sometimes it doesn't 🤣, realy a shame that this is clearly the meta by a mile 😭
18' s should be more than doable when we find muffin his natural steering state thing 😁
But again.... it's not my favo combo 🤣

It sure does. Unless you are chasing the top ghosts, then it understeers into oblivion and you cannot rotate it if your life depends on it.
I didn't complete a single lap last night
I'm running a 38.850 S1 easy, a decent S3, but in S2, especially T10 and T11, I just lose a second literally to the WR ghost, it's like he's running a 2 compound softer tire.

I love the combination, but hate the bollards. There are perfectly good track limits in the form of lines; why add these artificial ones? Real shame - did a low 2:19 last night and that will have to do. Back to Tsukuba to grind milliseconds!!

Those bollards are the absolute worst. Whenever I get close to one I start twitching and lose time 😕
Started yesterday with a couple of laps and got a 2:20.8xx but couldn't get close to that again.
Did 2 laps a couple of minutes ago and what do you know.. Shaved of 4 tenths. Maybe I should limit myself to 2 laps per day 😂

I know it does, because I used it last time and got a time in the edge of the silver territory. Just made it in with flying colors on the last day of the deadline. How lucky is that and I only ran 5 more graceful laps around the track. I shot through Eau Rouge fast without getting a penalty.
