Not sure what you mean by this. Do you find your own markers for a circuit?Yes, if I recognize them, yes.
First thing I noticed when I watched your lap was some corners it looked like you'd steer twice into them.

I find markers for braking, turning, and exit throttle for every corner in a circuit. I adjust them if needed as I go along.I mean that if I know a marker and know what to do, I use it, but in the areas where I struggle it is not obvious

I like your throttle and brake use; little to no time between being on one if not the other for the most part. I know you're happy with your approach in Sector 1, but you get on the throttle after apexing Turn 4 and Turn 5, when you can actually steer into both apexes while on the gas. You're accelerating past through the apex of Turn 3, which affects your approach to Turn 4 and thus Turn 5. You can gain a quarter up to half a second in that sector by adjusting your Turn 3 approach.
That looks like the one I saw in Wikipedia, yeah. 😄Thank you very much. Just to be clear, we refer to the same corners, correct?

Do you see an example somewhere so that I could visualize what you have in mind and try to repeat?
Hey, guys. I did improve the lap just a bit, got to below 1.39. But this is not that great. I had better laps, but made mistakes and they got cancelled. I think I should be able to go below 1.38.5 and maybe 1.38 if I do things really perfect.
I am not targeting GOLD. I am under no illusion - I am well aware what kind of experience and skill is required to get there and it is not something you expect a „rookie” to do. I know where I am and I am not yet chasing GOLD. I want to be well within Silver and that should be my realistic target.
A bit of general info:
Dual sense edge controller, TC 2, AT.
I use the ghost.
My most comfortable sector is S1 - I am able to do it pretty good 80% of the time.
I have 3 problem areas and this is where I loose time. The challenge is, I am not able to progress and no matter how much I will practice, I will not make a big improvement because I do not know HOW to it right.
This is the lap:
Problem Area 1:
My problem starts with Degner (turn 8 and 9). Turn 8 is not the worst, but acceleration of turn 9 is where I see I start loosing to the ghost.
My main issue is the Hairpin. I just do not know where to start breaking, where to start turning and how to accelerate so that I will do it really well and will not be too late with the breaking or not too fast with the acceleration as I loose traction and have wheel spin. I think I easily loose 0.3-0.4 sec here.
Problem Area 2:
Going through Spoon. This is where things go so wrong for so many times. Another 0.3-0.4 at minimum. Where to start turning and breaking, where to look for pointers and how to do it in a smooth way so that I could carry a lot of speed and consistently. I make a lot of mistakes here. 2 out of 10 times I do it Ok, but I have no idea how to do it right.
Problem is, I have zero confidence approaching the Hairpin and Spoon. So all the good S1 time I have, I screw here.
Problem Area 3:
Casio triangle. Just no idea how to do it well. Always guessing where to break, how to break and how to carry the speed and not go off or not be too slow. Super hard!
And keep on mimd this is my best lap, which means all other laps I struggle a lot. I am able to be close to 1.39.2 multiple times.
I need to find a second and I need to be able to learn how to drive really well in the 3 areas I mentioned. Then, I will just practice a lot to make it a habit and put it all together in one lap.

Humbly accepting any practical help:-)
You missed the apex at turn 2. You also missed the apex at turn 6 which then compromised your run through Dunlop. You need to hug the inside of turn 6 for longer before switching to the left. Degner 1 can also be taken a little quicker and you need to use more road on the exit of Spoon. You're too tight to the inside.Thank you very much. Just to be clear, we refer to the same corners, correct?

It was tricky to try and do a screencapture from your lap to do a comparison with a screencapture from mine, but:Do you see an example somewhere so that I could visualize what you have in mind and try to repeat?
What! The Sardegna TT has been one of my favorite TTs of recent time. The Z4 is an amazing car. No doubt the CS tyres don't make the deal sweet but the grip is much better than I had anticipated at the start. No doubt sector 3 is very crucial to nail but it takes time to either master it or just try following @Tidgney ghost. His lap guide for this TT is so damn helpful especially with braking markers.Bit disappointed with this. Took 40km to get to a 38.4XX, and then another 60km to get to the 38.315. Felt like I left a lot of time on the table here. Just wasn't able to get into a good rhythm with this combo, partly because it was 1am while I was attempting to set the time, and partly because this track has a few awkward corners, particularly in S3.
The Z4 felt quite boring to drive, the way the game portrays the motor is nothing special and the gear ratios feel quite long once you get into 3rd and 4th.
Hoping the new combo tonight is something more exciting. Don't really have time at the moment to learn how to drive the SF around Suzuka, might just attempt to get a safe gold and leave it at that.

I was using @Metalgear9493's ghost to help me, wasn't a matter of getting braking points right here, but rather hooking up a whole lap without any mistakes, whilst falling asleep. Perhaps I would've gone a bit faster if I had done my laps earlier in the day 🤔No doubt sector 3 is very crucial to nail but it takes time to either master it or just try following @Tidgney ghost. I've noticed this that especially when attempting a TT, it's important to have a fresh mind as opposed to a tired one. TT often requires good attention which can only be attained through good sleep or nothing else on the mind when playing. A happy mood also helps.I guess the Z4 just didn't really capture my attentionI didn't mind the chassis and grip level, mainly the engine that I found to be a bit lacking.

Congrats mate! Like I said before, well deserved!@linksracer Glad my ghost helped you out🤝.
Looks like L Shooter isn't performing his final hour shenanigans so I think I've just conquered a Lap time challenge event for the first time!
Special thanks to Thrustmaster TGT for allowing 720 degree mode🤣.
