I tried to see, and After 2 laps i'm a 7:52.783, plenty of room to improve, I butchered many corners and did a few drifts here and there 😅 will try sub 7:50 later

Improved to a 7:45.210.
Also, I don't want to be that toxic/salty sore loser of a guy but Yassi's time doesn't seem reachable
It's as if he's running softer tires or cutting the track considerably. But no one knows as all we have is a screenshot (of course I'm no better at this point, but people saw the 7:46 lap earlier)
And please people, if possible, once you get the lap you desire like me, upload a video. Everyone will be able to do it with the console's own recording software.
But for now, Yassi's time is out of my reach. I'd be super happy with a 7:43...gonna keep trying whenever!

Just use PlayStation's own recording software, as I said. Depending on which console you're on, just watch the replay and at the end of it press the PS button to save the recording. Then just trim the unnecessary parts'45 is fast

Aha..i thought that was a PS5 function, but i found it on my PS4 aswell
Quality adjustment i couldnt find, maybe just youtube that need rendering time, but here's the clip...the flashing is not by intent, its me trying to steer with the stick on my pad
Edit: just noticed from watching the replay that i had forgotten to turn off countersteer assist

Whew, after a few laps managed to get down to a 7:53.495, and that is hard fought! I am leaving a bunch of time out there with little slips and mistakes, but I'm pretty happy with this for the moment. With such a "low" power car, every little bit that slows your exit speed, or any mistake that keeps you off throttle, causes those 10ths to slip away. I've still got low 50s to high 40s in me, but I'm tired at the moment! lol. Still, just a super fun challenge, and a wonderful car to put the time into learning so well.
Done on T300rs 599XX, no assists besides ABS default.
Stuff like this is what really makes me question those that are "running out of content" in 7. Just a simple little challenge, taking a car out by yourself, can be so much fun if you like driving. To me, this is what GT is all about!
From now on, it would be nice to see everyone's clips, not only for validation, but to help everyone here improve their own times.

Just make sure you post the clip so we can see your skill. That's an insane time.

Got 7:49.339 with a DS4 pad...
However, I feel it was a little bit dirty in places and I could do a much cleaner run. Didn't deliberately cut, there were a few places where there were two tyres on the grass, two tyres on the asphalt but maybe pushing the boundaries of that just a bit.
I'm confident I can beat it with a much cleaner run, so when I do I'll record it and upload it here.

I specifically chose this car for it's combination of fun and performance, you never really feel like wasting time when driving this incredible piece of engineering. Every lap is fun and useful!
I think it should be left on Default just for the purpose of keeping the exact same conditions for all drivers

I think I should bring out the wheel, I know I can get a few seconds off with pad but with a wheel I feel I could nab 2nd maybe.
Wheel just gives you that precision that a pad doesn't. especially in a car like this.
