What Day and Time Would be Best for you to make the Xfinity Race?

And everyone that completed the race led more than just one lap. It was great racing, regardless of where you finished.
Couldn't of said it better myself. Everyone'll have some working to do for Motegi, as that'll be more of a tire saving game than anything.

*As a side note, Number Plates with your number you signed up with will be required for the rest of the Season. (No Peel, there isn't a Specific Number Plate to Run, all of them are ok to use)

Drivers of the Platinum Cup Series:

Pending further Review of the possibly upcoming Course Creator. If all seems well with it, after the Daytona 500, the PCS will be possibly postponing all further races until the schedule, rules, and regulations are reconfigured. This is only pending the usability of the Course Creator itself. More information will be added at a later date, a definitive answer will be given on Sunday night after the race. This also comes with the possibility that the course creator still is not ready for console and they are simply releasing the app.

As for the INBD Xfinity Series, I have no answer yet, as I have not heard or seen anything on Trobes part. I'm sure he'll post in a bit.

I think you guys are getting a bit antsy on the course maker deal. Run the races as they were scheduled. If it comes out, make tracks and then start replacing races. People take time out of their day to race. Postponing because of a feature that might or might not be coming out seems silly. I'd wait until we know for certain.

It's only me who is getting antsy right now. That's why I included the last part. It'll be announced this Sunday whether we are or not. Regardless, the 500 will be ran.
Postponing a week will not be agonizing, if it can make for more true to life NASCAR Racing, it will be done.

We will be doing the same as the PCS after Motegi this Friday, but only for a week or so. Getting a bit antsy should be understandable as this is a feature we've been waiting 2 years for. Tracks like Motegi West, Matterhorn, and Cape Ring don't belong on the schedule, but since they were our only choices they were put on, but now that we'll have other options, we're going to take those better options which should be the course maker tracks.

@trobes29 Sorry if it seems like I'm bugging you about it, but I really need those regulations posted for the Xfinity Series. Tomorrow will be the only day I can really practice, and I need to figure out what setup to use. It's not fair to any of us if we can't get proper time to practice and find a good setup. You're the only one who knows the package now, as far as I know.

As for this "course maker may be coming"... We've been getting news about it being a possibility ever since the game came out. Maintenance rarely even means an update. I agree it looks good with the news post though.

Obviously we would love to get some good course maker tracks into the schedule, but it's still not confirmed as coming by a certain date, until there is actually official word about when it will be in the game, or better yet actually in the game, I don't think you should be making any plans for it. I agree 100% with @BRRT_Angel. Don't kill the momentum of the series by waiting for something that is still uncertain.

As for the specific tracks, if you don't think they belong on the schedule, and are only using them as filler, you could always move them later in the schedule and put better road courses in their place for those two weeks that you are planning on waiting. (Ex: Monza and Suzuka East.) Personally I prefer Motegi West over Monza (I just don't like racing Monza in general) and think that with a good sized field it can be great for NASCAR style racing. Matterhorn on the other hand... that didn't go so well last time. I'm not sure if the racing got better once I started acting as Pace Car instead, but from what I saw it wasn't that good. The style of racing is there, but I do see your point about they don't belong. (At least for Matterhorn.)

If the course maker comes out and you need some time to create some tracks, we can run track that are already on the schedule while you are creating tracks.

Obviously we would love to get some good course maker tracks into the schedule, but it's still not confirmed as coming, (actually it was, years ago, but PD has confirmed things before that never came, for example GT5's livery editor.) until there is actually official word that it will be in the game, or better yet actually in the game, I don't think you should be making any plans for it. Do you even front page? Go check it out tell me what you see. Don't tell me I'm being silly when you haven't even checked the news. I understand you wanting the Regs, but I am currently still adjusting them to fix the Lexus' restarts for all packages.

Yeah, you ninja'd me, I just checked the news page and edited my post accordingly.

trobes, I don't even front page, I came straight here from Google to beg for regs. Understandable that you haven't posted them if you're still working on it, I know how tough it can be to balance. Just try to get ahead of schedule in the future. I know being in the position of still balancing is tough when the race is that very week. It's not fun for anyone, drivers because they can't practice and organizer due to the stress of worrying about having it right by the race day.

I still think it's silly to plan for it until it's in the game really. You have no idea when it will be in the game. Sure maintenance, but that doesn't mean update. If it is in the game this week, by all means adjust the schedule accordingly. It very well could be coming this week, but there have also been plenty of times news has been released only for content not to appear in-game for a while after that.

As much as I think it would hurt the series to have 1-2 week's break after Motegi just wondering if the course maker is coming. I also think it could hurt the series if the cars aren't balanced properly and if you need more time to do so for Motegi, I think you should take it and move the race down a week. (Hopefully you don't have to.)

The regs are close enough as of now to not have to delay, but as for the course maker, we're only delaying IF it releases this week, which I should of made clear so I apologize.

I don't think the app would be coming out if you couldn't create and race tracks tomorrow. Maybe not tomorrow. But I'm expecting an update tomorrow at least laying the ground work, if not building the whole house.

This is Polyphony Digital we're talking about, which dare I say can be worse than Volition and Eutechnyx when it comes to "laying ground work".

Schedule updated with New Tracks.
Regs for Motegi will be posted tomorrow.
*Countdown until Peelster notices what's special in the Schedule begin*

Damn, I made an oval yesterday just for this series.

Are we racing tonight? I still don't see any regulations. Less than 1 hour to practice. :( With not enough practice time, I'd just rather not. but if we are I'll do my best.
