What Day and Time Would be Best for you to make the Xfinity Race?

Don't feel bad, we stopped the race on Lap 56/125 after a couple more lag incidents. @BRRT_Angel mentioned getting a headache over the lag and quit. Due to the lag issues and being down to 4 drivers, (@Cole Brown was called away from the PS3 and was on pit road) we backed out. @trobes29 says that if the lag issues persist the track editor course may be dropped.
At a road course, the lag isn't as noticeable, but on an oval close racing is just hard to do at the moment. Don't get me wrong, the ~50 laps we did were an absolute blast. I had a great battle with you and trobes for the lead and actually had a good feeling with the car. The track was fun, but the lag was becoming enraging to me especially with all three cautions involving me to some extent.

Yea, at this point, I'm thinking the smaller ovals may be scrapped but tracks like Homestead, Darlington, Road America, and Circuit of Vermont may stay.

So this is what you guys are up to? Id be interested in coming to drive for a team if I had setup help. Any openings?
Yup, just choose a manufacturer and tell me what series you will be running in and you'll be set. I'm sure others will be open to help you.

I'll take a Camaro #18, I can race this Fri the 16th. Do I need to pass a license test? I was licensed for that Formula one league that went belly up.

I see final gear is listed for tranny, do I need to adjust my own gears before that or is whole tran setup provided and I just have to adjust suspension and drivetrain?

You've never taken a test in any of my series (maybe someone else's F1 league) but you can race.
You won't be allow to touch any of the individual gears, and must run the given Max Speed and Final Gear. Suspension and Drivetrain are free to tune except the Clutch which must be a Twin-Plate Clutch.

So its one of the auto settings? Which one. If not, list numbers please.
Max speed is always 273 mph. Final gear is usually different for each track to make the cars limited to 4 gears. He might not have final gear for this week ready yet.

OP UPDATED
-Transmission Regs Updated
-All Tracks using the Low Drag Package will now use the Standard Package, as I've come to the conclusion that the Low Drag Package Simply doesn't work.

Wish you would let us use the Special Wing Type A, looks so much more like NASCAR.
Not all of the cars have that type of wing available.

What tires? I bought racing hard
We arent using racing brakes? Didnt buy them yet till you confirm
Racing hard tires and racing brakes are allowed.

Uuuuuuuuuuh, so how does one get these Nascar tracks. I friended Trobes and angel, so if you have to share tracks you have with me, please do so asap

You can find them in Community in our GT6 profiles at Shared tracks.

I havnt searched hard yet, but Im guessing GT6 still has no wheel lock option for steering wheel drivers? And I need to steer road courses with a controller to be competive? Which is sad, and why I take yearlong breaks from this game because its no fun trying to steer the road courses on a wheel.

Which wheel do you have?

I can change to different steering locks with the g27 easily, you probably just need to google how to do it with your wheel. And unless you've been using a controller for a long time and have gotten used to it, switching to one for just one race is very foolish if you're trying to be "competitive".

Just tried it with controller. Never mind, F this game, and F you Kaz for STILL no proper wheel lock options, something NFS Shift had and made my wheel a blast to drive when I could set my wheel for full wheel lock at 90 deg steering wherl turn. Trying to manually uncoil your wheel in this game is such BS, and controller racing feels lame too. Dont know how people enjoy this game.

Ok, my G27 is set to 900 degrees and I almost NEVER cross my hands over each other or have to "uncoil" my wheel. Either the way you're driving is horribly wrong, or maybe your wheel isn't fully supported. And by the way, they way we "enjoy" the game is by working around the issues present instead of throwing our hands up in a hissy fit because something isn't implemented properly. We all know GT6 is far from perfect, but if you feel better playing an arcade game, then go right ahead.

Thanks Jacko, I may need to un F myself. Found how to make wheel change to 200 deg lock. Too late now, I'll try it tomorrow. Trobes accept my friend request. Not sure if Angels "Norwood track" is the Darlington we will use, looks like it, but not sure.

I dont see how you could be set to 900 and not have to cross over your hands to steer it. You must actually be on something shorter, because Ive been locked into 900 deg hell and its a beotch to take anything more than a 30 deg turn.

Never mind, I think my wheel is actually set to 540, my mistake ( The G27 is advertised as 900 degree capable, so i figured it shipped preset to 900). If you can't figure out how to lower the degree, then the only thing i can recommend is lots of practice, so you don't notice the amount of steering you have to input.

Jack, unless you've changed the degrees of rotation manually, you're at 900 degrees
