They're PD, they don't care none...

Please, not this again.

PD are probably the most caring gaming company.

No other company listens to their fans like they do. They spend 6 years making a game, and then release it for £40, EA spend a few minutes making one and release it for £50.

Please, enough with this crap.

Why don't they care about online racing then? Because they think single player is more important and fun? Or because they're too busy making useless DLC's that could have been part of the game from the beginning?

That's called not listening to their fans, or rather GT fans.

It's Sony's fault they weren't in the game to begin with, as they rushed them to release...

And they have updated the online loads. At the end of the day, GT was never an online game. I don't think any fans of GT expected such a great online experience to begin with. You take this game for granted, tell me another console game where you could organise series' like this and have fun realistic races?

Anyway we are off topic. Also, thanks Knelly for agreeing.

They obviously do care, because if people get put off the game, it means less sales of their DLC's and eventually Gran Turismo 6 or whatever they release next, but I wish they would actually play the online from the public's point of view, because 16 in a race is very touch-and-go.

I expect online racing to be free of major glitches, and despite us getting multiple new updates recently, they haven't fixed the issue that is much more important than anything else in the game.

You are talking about it like it is some sort of huge thing that stops racing entirely.

It only happens in Furi's lounges because of the high amounts of people, we have still had good races with 12+ people in other series'.

Again, good luck finding a racing game that does what GT5 does.

I agree with you, that the online experience needs some fixing, and it has taken a little while to get to, but that should be resolved in the next few days.

I also agree that fixing things for the hardcore online series fans, could be better, but I expect all this in GT6 (flags etc).

But to say PD don't care is just childish and unapreciative of what they have achieved.

Don't like it, go and play Forza or I-racing. I'm sick of the haters on here, who still log on every single day, yet can't wait to slate something that is obviously quite big to fix.

Grow up please.

Simply put, we can not race properly while the glitch is in existence. If they don't fix it, it makes it worthless to ever attempt getting 16 people to race in a series. TOCA would have great potential but PD has buttraped it with their glitch.

Summed it up better than I did.

Now lets get back on topic.

Furi, is it a clean slate tonight? Starting fresh?

It may not have been a online game originally but come on ppl they got to get with the times most games are all about online.
Online is the way forward!

Yet Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 are much more fun offline than most games online.

We are starting afresh. If it does not work we wait until a fix is confirmed.

They don't have the sluggish AI that makes GT's offline boring.

I do agree in that offline can be more interesting than online, but that's often not true in racing games.

I do need to prepare myself for a situation where I need to lure another guy into my team :scared:
