Honda killed the Ford and Volvo in the tight stuff. PJ's quick but needs a bit of consistency. chrisjohnson is slowly improving and looks like a decent bet. Seriously this season is going to be close.

The Honda wasn't the fastest at Grand Valley. It would get ahead in Sector 1, by about 4 tenths from the Volvo, but drop it all in S2 and S3 and end up several tenths down. That track has too much straight and not enough corners, especially being slightly uphill on the run to the final corner, for the Honda to be that quick at. The Volvo was always fast in a straight line, and the Honda has as much torque as a blender.

I've got my eye on that Ford though, if it handles anything like the Honda and doesn't have enough torque to move a mouse, then that will be my choice.

Me too, it's awesome. Playing full races and weekends is unbelievably fun Stewards can be annoying though, got a drive-through penalty for holding Massa up under blue flag...when he wasn't even keeping up with me 👎

I got disqualified for dangerous driving on the first lap at Monaco in the first corner even.. Anyway.. About to try to get the GT5 DLC for the 10th time..

Off topic but I was at Mayalsia in F1 2011 there running second after a weird penalty in quali put me starting last, with 2 laps left when I ran wide out of turn 3 and webber and Hamilton passed me I was running alongside Hamilton going into 4 when he cut across me wrecked my front wing and spun me out.. And no flashbacks left.. Sickened..

In Australia I spun out in practice and had to drive in the wrong direction in order to turn around, immediate 10 place grid penalty

I use 2 and run at professional difficulty at 20% distance.. Still hard to take.. And in quali for that 10 place penalty it was overtaking petrov when I was on my hot lap and he wouldn't move out of my way so I tried overtaking him and he went wide when I was outside him and hit me and I got the penalty

Yeah the AI seem to be very good at overtaking but not at being overtaken. It's quite a nervous manouvere overtaking a slow car in quali due to the penalties. Happy with my R&D progress though, hit the Malaysia laptime needed by midway through P3.

Anyway, this is a TOCA thread if I recall rightly so i'll shut up
