Well I'm doing what I can to see if I can improve it which is very little.. I'll change to NAT 1 tomorrow but I think/hope it was a once off..

EDIT: Normally I don't lag right?

You won't be able to get NAT Type 1 unless your modem is seperate from your router. Type 2 is fine, your lag is probably just a latency issue and thus will probably be fixed when the mics are turned off tomorrow.

Also, the packet test on pingtest.net seems to be broken, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Then you're probably happy with taking the blame and a week's ban if your ignorance makes someone go off
What do you think I should do if someone tries to put a move round the outside of me then, let them have the place?

Going round the outside is asking for trouble. I'm not saying I'll full on punt them off, I'll just be taking the natural line
which leads to the outside

Not taking other cars into account, no matter if they're on your inside or outside, will give you trouble rather quickly. I'm sure you should have read the OLR and understood it by now. No real racer uses their usual line when they have another guy attempting to pass.

The outside last bend at Cape is very difficult to pass on at all.

Oh come on, if you're trying one on the outside you have to give if the driver on the inside wants to keep his line

Or as you say, there will be an incident. If I'm the inside driver, I'll take my chances with the stewards

I agree too!

Monaco Season 2 I overtook you around the outside of the chicane and you were impressed by it, why has your opinion changed?

Depends though. Cape's outside narrows and has several lines in but only 1 line out really, it narrows up.

My opinion hasn't changed. I'd be just as impressed with a move round the outside anywhere, as long as I wasn't expected to just passively give up the spot

You left me no option when you did it. Boom, quick decisive move

It's the non-decisive tippy tappy faffing about on the outside that bothers me

Because when the move doesn't pay off, the driver on the outside will then complain he's been punted off when he should have backed out of the move before it got to that stage

Deliberate shunting is a no-no. RP remember rubbing is racing but not excessive, times have changed since Season 2.

I think for S5 Cape Ring Inside might have to be dropped.:scared: That being said, South or North could be good, or Special Stage Route 5.

hey, can i sign up with a volvo, thanks?

I am in Australia too so could someone plz convert the time zone to gst, i live in melbourne so i should be gst+9 or +10

Or Cape Ring Periphery :D

Did well today considering my flaming hatred for Cape Ring, and an almost equal flaming hatred for Front Wheel Drive. I should be able to fully commit to TOCA this season, which will give me a serious run.

I won't be punting anyone, but please don't expect me to just passively give up a place just
because someone puts an overly robust move on me

Remember, the person doing the overtaking has a responsibility to ensure that the move can
be pulled off with the minimum of fuss

I have the same hatred of Autumn Ring.. :grumpy:

And I agree with Paul here. Because he's not saying he will punt someone off, but if they go on the outside of him in Turn 8 (Coincidence?) he won't adapt to there line and if that results in them going off so be it. That's what I thik he meant anyway.

Also, redid the Speed test this morning and got, Upload: 4.67mpbs, Download: 2.25mpbs. A fair bit better then yesterday so I feel confident in it at the moment. But will most likely be proved wrong by it 👎
