Round 3 - Tsukuba

After the Nissan's issues, TOCA gave Matty special dispensation to start in a Honda for the final race of the day.

No need for speed limits here!

Brooks set to make comeback
RPM Driver, Tom Brooks is set to make his return to TOCA after missing the first event due to injury. Reserve driver Sam Cassidy replaced Brooks at Tsukuba in the Volvo and set some incredibly high standards for him to beat and Tom has already stated about how he feels he needs to improve. Number One driver and Team Owner Alex Kazen has stated that he is judging Brooks "on track performance" alone for this season. Brooks was seen testing today around Suzuka's East Circuit in preparation for the next round, setting mildly competitive lap times in the mid 54's. Tom has released this statement:

"I'm glad to be back on the track after such a short time spent recovering, although my lap-times were 1 second off of the pace I am happy that I have been able to recover so quickly and I will be doing my best to perform for the remainder of the season. I have spent some time talking with Alex about his and my own personal expectations for this week and I can say that I will be doing my best to fight for points. I am incredibly glad that RPM have kept faith in me for this season and I will be doing my best to keep my drive for the next."​

Finally broke into the 53.'s earlier with a 53.7, got about 3-4 more tenths to come however. Thanks to Dax for the tuning and guidance. 👍

I want to say one thing, it's sooo good to be back! And with a pretty big grid, and 3 winners from 3 teams in 3 different cars, minimal lag issues and DC's, and good racing. TOCA is back to its best

it's good to hear that i've gained another few points and also gain the WTF moment of the weekend, even though i was on the inside the whole time and there was a bit of lag at the time, was there a problem with me lagging during the races

No but somehow on replay you just shot sideways into Haitch , Same race 2 you just went straight on at the hairpin. Weird.

I am going to suck at suzuka but hoping for at least a podium at the nurb. I consider the Nurb one of my best tracks in the game.
