Funny thing is, tonight was by far the best racing we had ever had - 7 car fight for 2nd down to 9th in Race 2, which only ended early after vtecsyndrome understeered off the road through no fault of his own into driftking.

9th? I don't think so, since I can remember being in 8th for quite some time, and nowhere near your pack.

Certainly was, best of the season so far :cool: Despite what you've said Furi, I think things are getting generally cleaner on-track

Sure, there was plenty of rubbing in the turns, but the full-on rear punting seems to have reduced by a big amount
 
I'm testing at Indy right now, I'm getting 1'42s with a barely modified set-up from Tsukuba. It still has the downforce settings.
 
I'll move on to the Indy tests tomorrow... I can guarantee though, that I'll take the next event's races more carefully. I'm not actually sure how much punting is allowed, so that's why I mostly avoided forcing anyone out of my way (still hit tombrooks badly at R2, hope he didn't get too frustrated...).

I would believe that the Honda gets a little bit more advantage here with its great speed on the straights.

I got nerfed off twice lol, but I have a question: How many of you could just stick to the inside at the final corner? I could, and bizarrely I found that when the tyres were worn between Lap 8 and 12, I could take 0.4 seconds a lap out of everyone.

Tsukuba was I reckon my strongest showing.... Its in Season 3 for sure - great racing.

The gap shrinks between Electric Storm and driftking so slightly, whilst Boyce moves into third ahead of vtec. Me and RacerPaul are locked in a titanic struggle that may get interesting if avohmann returns.
 
For those that were upset with me in race 1, please watch the replay from my car's perspective. The car in front of me all but stopped on the inside line of turn 2. I slowed down to prevent heavy contact with the car in front of me, at which time I got plowed from behind by someone that maybe didn't see the bottleneck effect coming back toward them.
 
No. Title looks two horse race now. I know it is early, but what would you prefer in Season 3? Suzuka East or Indianapolis Road Course?
 
I'm asking about tracks as I am sorting a schedule out... TOCA to finish, I have just opened a short NASCAR Trucks Series, and then TOCA Season 3...
 
I'd like to see some created courses from Eifel. You can create some very wide tracks in that theme. I have created a good track that might be good for touring cars.

The S15 qualifies as GT car more than a touring car. Sorry about that dk.

But a 6th car is in progress. Now I'd like to keep all NGTC talk to that topic... and the current series here.

I for one think Indy is a set-up challenge, with extremely slow corners and fast oval segments...

I really need to work on a set up for reducing front tyre wear for my Honda. I'm guessing it's the amount of camber and toe I ran with.

My reason was that if the 135i is in it, why not the S15? But then again, in stock form the S15 weighs c.20% less than the 135i.
 
4 Races at Indy this weekend.... going to be interesting. No time for smokes in between races :lol:!!!
 
S3 looks good Furi... The rear ending in Tsukuba R2 had really pissed me off but I will complete the rest of S2. May just be joining NGTC soon. (sent a teammate request)

Honda have not won this season... Only 3 more meetings for the ageing Integra workhorse to try!

I won't be at Indy, but I will make sure I win a race this season.:)
Just need for avohman to not be there.:lol:
