i did a test with my volvo to spec 305bhp and 1258kgs and got a 1:43.7 is that any good or do i need to work on it (i dispise monaco)

It looks like that at the moment, that your time could be competible (although I still recommend testing because others might find their way to better pace as the week goes by).

I'm also getting into the high 1'43s around Monaco.

i will work on it but in the Integra RM series (in my sig) round monaco im 1.5secs off the pace so i thought that may have carried on in here...

The understeer is pathetic, only got about 1'44's at best. My laps were kinda inconsistent because of the understeer as well...

Any chance we should race with mechanical damage off? It's only dangerous when cars whose handling is all messed up are driving in a close pack. The lost speed when hitting a wall should be enough of a penalty for a driving error.

I am highly in favour of this idea đź‘Ť

I kind of feel that it is up to each individual driver to learn the course so as not to 'use' the walls and corners.

Yes, you might get punted etc by someone into a corner or wall, but I don't see how it is any different to any other track.

This would also allow me to trundle my way from the back to take ALL OF Y'ALL đź’ˇ

Plus, you wouldn't see No Damage IRL.

But as I said before, it's dangerous to have damaged cars drive in a close pack when there's no space for them to give up positions. Not to mention that it's way too easy to get rammed when the track is so narrow, and that only leads to undeserved damage 'penalties'...

Season 2 went ok. And where is the challenge? Be thankful its not Madrid Mini...

@DK If ya lagging this week then I hope you understand you won't be able to race.

I'm with Knelly on this one. I can see Carbon's point of view in that slower cars are a danger to others however, it is not impossible to get out of the way here. It is hard to get damage here unless you have a major shunt into a corner or an accident. I think that having damage off though could even cause more accidents as people will, in theory, be more oppourtunistic knowing that there is no threat of damage. Also, it keeps the leader on his toes knowing that a lapse in concentration could cause him damage.

Stupid ipod froze and I sent the message twice.

P.S. Does anyone here do Physics at A-Level or A-Levels in general for ghat matter?
