IRT secures final driver line-up
The newly formed Invicta Racing Team's future was in doubt last week after sponsorship issues looked to force them out of TOCA's Season 6. However, an agreement has now been reached whereby Alex Purchase (more commonly known as Haitch) will pilot the second car after being dumped by his team-mate just a few weeks ago. Team Owner and Driver Tom Brooks will pilot the first car as he had originally intended to run as an independent for the season. He later released this statement:

"I'm thrilled that we have managed to secure Alex for Season 6! I have followed his career throughout Karting and there is no doubt that there is a lot of speed behind him. He had a difficult time last season in the Team Dynamics Civic which led to some mediocre results and a few hair-raising incidents. But I fully believe in him and his capabilities and I think that we can score some great results!"

Brooks declined to comment on what their car choice and title sponsor would be, however he has announced that a decision will be made by this Friday.​

I believe so! If I could hold the lead for almost a lap with the Focus at Nurburgring, why I wouldn't be able to drive this Volvo? :lol:
