This will probably come off as a stupid question but do the drivers that tried to qualify but didn't get any points?

You get 1 point for 15th, and none it seems for 16th, so getting points for not even starting the main events and not being in the top 16 is quite unlikely

You did not qualify. Don't see need to explain further. And tonight my first non-finish in a TOCA race.

I got the results. Will post tomorrow. Nice to see quali worked for once :) - there's a few changes from 8th on downwards.

i'm probably still in 4th overall and around 50 points clear at the top of the independents and volvo and RPM are dominating the other tables

I'm so glad the weather tracks are behind us. To be honest, with settings like they are apparently used, the probability of rain is so high that I don't know why I bothered testing on a dry track. As it turned out, we had not a single dry lap in the whole 3 races.

Qualifying was completely turned on its head by the fact that it started raining on the first flying lap, on which I probably could have gotten pole, if it hadn't been for the fact that on my hotlap someone was driving around the track on autopilot and I had to go around the outside in the slow corner leading to the uphill straight and Blanchimot. Well, it turned out it would have been useless anyway, since it continued raining and starting on slicks would have been a disaster. I decided too late to change to inters, and subsequently had to start from the back. Inters were not the right choice either, and I changed to full wets in the race. Ended up 7th.

In race 2, started on full wets as it was 70% wet and still raining. After the first laps where I couldn't find any rhythm, I finally got into it towards the end, and managed to go up to second.

Took a little bit of a gamble in race 3 and started on inters (don't actually know what the others were on), and had to battle it out for the first couple of laps with various Volvos mainly. I was still practically at the back of the field at the end of lap 3, but then through various mistakes by other people and a little bit of speed I gained every lap with the drying track I managed to overtake 3 cars in lap 4, only to be taken out by a classic dive-bomb in La Source by a blue Volvo (you know who you are), whose driver almost immediately chose to disconnect thereafter. He was apparently trying to outbreak the car behind me, and that one wouldn't even have been close enough to try. Anyway, was literally bumped back to last position (9th at that point) because of it, but again, the drying track enabled me to make up 2 more positions until the end to finish 7th. Who knows what would have been possible without that shunt.

Anyway, on to, uh, drier pastures.

I realised it was my mistake, hence the quitting. Certaintly not my finest hour.

We all make mistakes mate, I nearly crashed into your team mate twice into La Source, just aquaplaned passed him and then seemed to turn in fine anyway

We definately all made mistakes. Very unpredictable being so wet with no visibility.

The thing about Spa is the people don’t know where is and where isn’t a good place to overtake.

For hairy moments. Race 2 finding a gas between haitch and 2 others on run to eau rouge...

IRT announce new driver for Season 7
TOCA newcomers, Invicta Racing Team have secured a new driver for Season 7. The new talent comes in the form of Rob Adams, (more commonly known as raceorama) who previously raced for Kenwood Autosports and Oramaspeed. Adams stated that he was "excited" to be joining IRT. Team Owner, Tom Brooks released a statement earlier today.

"Rob has been extremely quick all season and has adapted to the new Volvo very well which has been shown by consistent points and even a win in Monza! I'm thrilled to have him on-board for next season and I hope that we can work together for many seasons to come. I must mention our departing driver, Alex Purchase who has put in a commendable performance this season and I cannot thank him enough for the work that he has done after joining IRT at the eleventh hour."

I should tell you guys that I left in the middle of R3 to go to a party to get wasted.

Race 2 was really scrappy, I'm sorry if I made any excessive contact during that race.
