Well when I tried to rejoin he just blocked me, first time I thought "might be 3 abreast here, he'll give me room" - same when I rejoined. But to use the same trick on me...

Common sense dictates that he should create room, at 0:16 the orange Ford is even moving to the right to give more room.

And from R35's view - that was either ridiculous lag, divebomb, or both at Turn 1.

Common sense also dictates that if he doesn't (give room), you don't play with his rules.

I'm not defending R35 but Furi has so much improvement to do in his racing conduct that I can't just quietly watch. That 3 wide incident at the first turn of Motegi East was one example...

Generally I still have room for improvement, I need to iron out the silly moves (like that Motegi one) and inconsistency.

on dax's indecent he divebombs spurgy then after dax's brilliant double overtake around the outside he proceeds to knock dax off purposely as you can see him turn into dax's car.

in the 2nd incedent with furi he seems to knock furi wide firstly then when furi comes back on the track move across the road in between the cars on either side of him like a pendulum and ultimately takes him out

one thing they are missing from the replay is steering input like they had on previous games so we can definitely know if someone is driving into someone else on purpose

Also, Furi, you weren't clean yourself, coming back on track after Turn 1 without looking and hitting someone.

I'm not sure, technically if your not on track, you don't have a right to rejoin until the road is clear, which it wasn't. However common courtesy would be to give room, and the way that R35 reacted was far too aggressive.

Having said that, Furi wasn't on the grass until R35 hit him, so he should have let him back on.

Too many people do that though, maybe not to the same extent, but lots of people dive into gaps that are closing thinking that they have the right to the corner because they were alongside on entry, completely neglecting the fact that in order to get alongside, they had to overshoot their brake point by a few metres and use the other car as a brake.

I said R35 was in the wrong. I was disagreeing with Penguin because the only reason you were off on the grass was because you were hit by R35.

Don't know, apparently EIGHT incidents in that race are under investigation?! But he just made a simple error.

i think the replay should stay as it has a purpose as it shows new drivers that we don't tolerate actions like the ones displayed by R35 in both incedents

But as far as I am concerned, a whole point is driving people isn;t allowed. I know the BTCC Stewards think the same, and my point stands that ramming people off for no reason is NOT legal. And should not be in ANY GTP race series.
