I have a Mazda which may have Weight Reduction 3 fitted to it. Is it really important that I mustn't have it, or can I just ballast the car up to the required weight? Else I don't have another which is run in.

It is important that the cars are exactly to spec because that's how they were tested.

If you were to add ballast, you may get a performance enhancement because you can decide where that ballast goes.

BMWs are strong in the wet!

Thats true but its pretty sad to see a car that goes past you at about 10mph faster than your going when youve got slipstream.

You'll have to buy a new one then. Anyway, Mazda, BMW, Infiniti all full.

IRT look forward to 3-car attack at Monza
Having only fielded the one factory-spec and one satellite Audi at Cape Ring for the first round of TOCA7, IRT are looking forward to racing their full line-up of three Audi TT's in the hands of drivers Tom Brooks and Rob Adams for the factory team and Geoff Hooper for IRT Junior Racing. Having completed most of their testing the circuit, the drivers may have a certain edge over the rest of the field, especially as rain is predicted. Will it pay off? We'll have to wait and see.

Got a bit more to come through Lesmos, and this lap was completely clean, not even using the curbs really.

Triple 6 engineering announce sponsorship deal

Triple 6 engineering are delighted to announce a deal with Vodafone to sponsor the Honda CR-Z for the rest of the season. When we talked with the team owner and driver, Chris Johnson he issued the following statement, "We are delighted to announce Vodafone as our major sponsor the rest of the season and hopefully that will give us the budget to make improvements to the car throughout the rest of the season." The sponsorship will begin with the 2nd round of the season this weekend at Monza.

I'll be using the Audi if I'm able to race today. Have done a 2:00.6 as my best time after about 5 laps with it.

Are there mandatory pit stops in TOCA?
