Tom bought the parts as I read them off my car so they are identical, that's good then :)

In that case I reckon it's my sheet that's wrong, I need to update that and a typo in the Mazda's weight tomorrow 👍

People agree that the sheets are easier to understand though?

 @Paul, well that solves it

They are only as clear as the man who made them... Who in this case is the most confusing person in the known universe :sly:.

So uh the Audis not allowed to use a torque splitting diff I see...

I like the sheets, better than plain text 👍

Good Call Cadet! :salutes:

EDIT: Time for me to get to sleep, good night and merry Christmas :)

Correct.

After a quick tune and 5-10 lap run in each my base times at Cape Ring South are:

Audi: 1:19.6 One of my least favorite to drive but had another .2/.3 in it and with more tunin coul get it even lower.

BMW: 1:19.4 Again still has alot of understeer but atleast with it being a S6 car I had a tune on it that made it turn much more nicely. On RMs it certainly feels better. My lap I mucked up the last sector as I was .6 up on the 19.6 of the Audi but after running deep in the right hander into the hairpin I was compromised on my entry and slid on exit so ended only .2 up. So again could do much better if I did more laps and if Dax races he will certainly be faster than me in it.

Infiniti: 1:19.2 It felt ok but in places the front felt lazy. I had the most basic tune on this of all the cars and I lost .1/.2 in the last sector, I can never nail it every lap :P. Again I'm not the best Rwd driver so it could hit 18s with more tuning and/or a better Rwd driver.

VW (0 miles 297bhp): 1:19.0 I still love this cars waywardness, it's so oversteery and pointy, just a joy to drive. I was on for a 1:18 lap but I lost .2 in the last sector with wheelspin which ran me wide so I had to get back inside the pit wall. With full power this should easily clock high 18s. Also even with less power it was still one of the fastest on straights.

Suzuki: 1:19.4 I don't aprove of this car as it's chassis simply is not made for this sort of power.. I had to tip toe on the power in some bends where I was flat in other FFs.. While it is on the pace and the fastest on straights, here anyway, Not to mention how light it is running compaired to the others to achieve this pace. I doubt it's race pace would be good after 7 or so laps as it wheelspins so much, even with my mad FF tune :ill:.

Mazda: 1:18.9 RMs have given the Mazda back it's legs. It now feels like it did back in S4.2 . Again I used my S6 tune since it's a carry over car. It handles beautifully points and slides and barely spins up the wheels on exits, most notably at the hairpin where I can flaten the throttle much earlier than the other FFs and still have no wheelspin. I could probably gotten lower into the 18s with more laps.

Honda: 1:19.9 The same trick has not happened with this. Still feels very very detached at the front and wheelspins like mad. Could not find the pace in this at all, sad really as this was the fastest for me pre 2.09 in S6 on RHs.. The Honda is off the pace here atleast not sure how it will fair elsewhere but it isn't a good sign.

Mini (0 miles 287bhp): 1:18.8 Mini is fastest!!!??!?! :scared: I don't even have it at full power! But then Furi has been using it for all the tests and lightening it to the point it's 970kgs and we all know Furi makes one car fastest for himself.. It handles great has great speed on straights, furthermore I did 3 laps of 1:19.2, 1:18.9 and 1:18.8 one after the other.. Where as in the others I only really got one fast lap in. I was even up on the 1:18.8 by over a tenth but lost it further round..

So order of pace is:

Mini
Mazda
VW (Can be faster than Mazda with run in)
Infiniti
BMW
Swift
Audi
Honda

This is my present to Toca drivers btw... Merry Christmas :sly:

paulmac2k9: Thanks for saving some time for us!! I was going to drive em all, but pretty much knew what I was going to use. Good work!

Thanks for the great Christmas present, but I was honestly not expecting the Mini to be the fastest out of all the cars in S7. And what really puts on the shame is that it didn't even have the full 305 bhp it was supposed to have in the first place  .

EDIT: And I rest my case that BMW isn't going to be competitive at Monza :indiff: .

The Mini will be competitive at Cape and Autumn Ring, but will be down on speed tracks like Monza.

Not sure how you're getting understeer from it. :odd: When I did some testing for ToCA6 it was by far the pointiest car in the field: on Indy road it was a good .2/3 faster through the hairpins than anything else. Albeit slower than the truck that was the Volvo.

Didn't get a G27, but a Kindle and a new watch ain't too shabby :sly:

Isn't it like... 2 in the morning there??

Not sure if I'm getting trolled... There are like minimal presents.... Maybe I'm missing something.....

Merry Christmas to all? Even SAM CASSIDY? :sly:

don't even go there.

Anyway, I was at TOCA dog's Christmas party, and he told me that the family had found a receipt for 5 naked men. Conveniently Neljack was in his room playing 'playstation', and giggling until the earlier hours of the morning. Nice present Alex :sly:. #akmuqsthebullymaster

Mini fastest? :D - I got a 1:20.5 with room for half a second myself, you found some killer pace, impressive.

Mazda has bite back huh? Tested it against Tom at Spa in wet and actually didn't feel half bad.

VW feels... odd. Almost feels slow, and a bit wayward.

Infiniti - Very reactive and pleasant to drive.

BMW - Seen it do 1:19.1 with Conbon

Suzuki - Has so much torque it can't make it's mind up.

Audi - Stable but a little understeery.

Honda - seen the Honda do 1:19.1 with Smuffy.

Oh and Merry Christmas all

For Christmas I got a message from Furi saying I can nominate someone to use RS tyres for the season.
