Molecularly correct? That Eclipse hardly resembles an Eclipse at all. What’s wrong with pointing that out? And have I said that it will ruin the game? No. I’ll enjoy the heck out of this game I’m sure, but that Eclipse still looks like crap.If models not being meticulously correct to reality is gonna upset you, I'll save you some time...get out. EVERY TXR game has had odd bits, some worse than others. If the models being off is enough to ruin your experience, don't bother with the game, because I can guarantee you'll find a dozen other things before the third run is over that will upset you.
Personally, I'm tired of looking at molecularly correct cars that I'll never use once. I'd rather have one that has potential to be fun because once I start driving, I'm not looking at the car I'm driving...I'm trying to dodge the BS traffic that spawned just out of sight again.
I'd ask how it doesn't, but I don't care. You didn't point out it looked like crap, you compared it to 25 year old polygons. Does it look like a block of melted plastic? Yes, and the one in game so far looks like it's reheated to try and fix it. Point is there WILL be errors and issues with the cars, and that will irk people that expect flawless perfection. I was not trying to provoke you, but whatever.Molecularly correct? That Eclipse hardly resembles an Eclipse at all. What’s wrong with pointing that out? And have I said that it will ruin the game? I pointed out the inaccuracy of the 3D model. Polygon count and accuracy are two completely unrelated measures.I'd ask how it doesn't, but I don't care. You didn't point out it looked like crap, you compared it to 25 year old polygons.
Likewise.I was not trying to provoke you, but whatever.
Update to the PC specs (unless I missed this, this is new for me)

While resolution info would be nice for 'Recommended', it's good to see setting recommendations.
I don't think there has ever been a good handling TXR game. 3 got somewhat close, but Zero was truly whack. It's honestly remarkable how playable they've all been despite this.Looks good and has just enough nostalgia to make it desirable, but I just can't get beyond how... weird the handling physics look. Every video I've seen it just seems like the car is janky and bouncy and not very predictable.
Still, I want this to come to consoles, because it would just feel right for nostalgia purposes.
I know, I've played all of them too. ITC in particular was basically an understeer simulator. But from all the footage I've seen of this so far, it looks worse than those.I don't think there has ever been a good handling TXR game. 3 got somewhat close, but Zero was truly whack. Someone didn't know the post race auto pilot remove disc exploit. 😎Also, it seems there's also an auto-cruise feature if you want to just vibe to the music and sightsee for a while. Where was this back in the 2000's when we needed to grind mileage for engine swaps?
Oh I knew about it eventually, but leaving the PS2 on all night to run up those miles wasn't an option so I had to run laps around the C1 to do it. All the more reason I wish C1 Grand Prix had gotten a US release, since I knew the course pretty darn well by then!Someone didn't know the post race auto pilot remove disc exploit. 😎
