Are you serious? I meant nothing rude by what i said, i just wanted to point out that you've just asked someone to do something that will take quite a long time. Maybe you could learn to do it yourself :) And i'm broke, so i needed the money :( :D

come on man..... i spose u have some super-dooper car that every one wants to vector too. and i wouldnt be talkin if i was u. cause i saw ur 180sx u did that u copied everyone elses stuff and put it onto, and u got owned by just about every manga car tuner on this forum.

that is all.

Wow, I cant believe I wasnt suggested. Not that I would have worked for free or for a private party, but it still hurts. :indiff:

*laughs at own ego*

Anyway, how are you going to call yourself "GG Productions" if you dont produce anything yourself?
BTW, Don makes some hot stuff, so if he can be making money on pieces (and can), then he has the right to ask for it and turn down anyone who doesn't want to pay. 💡

yes but i didnt say i didnt want to pay. and thats my name because i produce stuff in real life lol, and i do mostly chops (however **** at it i may be), im quite new to vectoring stuff

This is my first vector attempt in Illustrator. It sucks. The line image look's ok, but the color one is ****. :grumpy:

Hey not bad for first try :) My biggest issue is with the size of the picture. I prefer bigger, it's nicer to look at. The line image always looks better, which is why so many people have just posted their line images in this thread rather than the final piece. So props to you for trying to shade. But the shading... Hmm ;)

1. Don't use the magic wand to select the areas for colouring, use the lasso. You can see the white borders around the black lines
2. Don't just use a gradient!

It's a good start, keep at it 👍

I finally got around to doing the rims on this Silvia, about 3 months after I began it. Whole thing took about 8-10 hours.

sUn, you should really start with a bigger image, and zoom in real close so the line are nice and even. Also, you need to use more different shades. Just some constructive criticism.

Click away.

^^ Nice. Dig the toon look. The only thing i sligtly dislike is the wheels. They need more lines on the spokes etc. I'm not a big fan of the line-less look. Sorry. Still, the rest looks very well done to me :)

I'm working on a Monaro now, damnit, I keep making all my lines on the car layer, so when I hide that layer there's nothing there, I keep forgetting to press the new layer and make my lines on that. :grumpy:

Dont like the lineless look, huh Don? Just remember, on my new works the lines are still there, just the color of the line is changed. :D
Wait til you see the RX8...............

Can't wait :D

I remember your Evo VIII you did in imitation of someone elses work, and it's that sort of style is dislike. Don't get me wrong, the piece was great, but personal preference takes over unfortunatley.

Oh, I see what you mean, Don. That Evo was pretty tame. I just wanted to see if I could do work like that, turns out I can. Dont like it though. I like my style and its still a fan favorite. :D

I can't belive how freckin' smooth you're lines are. I tried using the pen tool and it was as smooth as sandpaper :grumpy:

*edit* It works now, but I get these twichy little things at sharp bends :dunce:

Can anyone solve this huge problem?

:dopey:

*edit* it works now =D
My first real vector:
I've done more than it shows on the pic (screenshot)
