It's all part of a delicate plan to redirect my life to IRL activities. Not working right now as you see.

I'm really looking forward to see how you'll take on the rest of the Fab RX8. Will it be this bright or are you planning more contrast? And further, is it a prechop, or are they making kits for the RX8?

Hey old bud, here's another one for you. :) I incidentally pop into your devart page to check out if you got any new wps. I'm currently using the dark red one with arrows, circles and triangles. Good stuff. đź‘Ť

Well just for you :sly: Brembo brakes and yes that is the Fabulous logo in the centre of the wheel hub :dopey::

Planning on keeping it the same - car and background blending together. Do you think it needs more contrast? I haven't finished that front rim yet, a few more changes required. I think one of the changes will be to add more contrast there as it's a little washed out, but the rest of the car needs it too? :ouch:

Yes they do make kits for the RX8 (and this is one), the only thing changed is the rims - these ones are from the Fab 350z đź‘Ť

Yummy. đź‘Ť

The rims look fantastic, gold+white body=true.

Overall it looks much better now, with some colored parts coming to it. One thing you could try is simply giving the bg a very low opacity gradient (top-down, color on top) in the same tone as the rims. It might look dirty but it could also add some structure/contrast to the car itself without being as strict as lines/more contrast to the car itself. Just a thought, it looks very good as it is now too.

:)

Oooh, looking nice zoxxy! :D

We should all do pieces with just the outlines + black colour, and make our very own "GTP's Supercars Colouring Book". :D

 That's not a bad idea!

Looking sweet Zoxxy :)

Bondy, that rim is starting get really good đź‘Ť How long left do you reckon?

That's a freaking great idea!
By the way Shant, I wonder how the hole you can make the lines thinner at the end like it is on he 360? That would help SO much! đź‘Ť

No, it looks awesome as it is. A break from the traditional bold outlines and sharp colours is nice. đź‘Ť

It's simple really, you don't use just a single line to get it thinner at the end. Granted, you could use the brushes available on Illustrator, but they aren't exactly smooth. Try using a line of about 0.25pt in thickness (more/less, depending on you, because in the end it's going to have a black fill, (Pic1)) and trace the lines you want. Instead of how normally you would vector the lines, just try to vector the outer and inner lines, and they will meet at an end point which will of course make the lines thinner at the end, (Pic2). (I keep thinking of something to say but I can't... hopefully some pics will make understanding better)

I hope this helps! I seriously suck at explaining things... so, well, if you need anything else hit me up on MSN. I could give you the original .svg files if you want.

@donbenni : Teh yum! I love the rims... they look so sexy. Fantastic stuff đź‘Ť

@bondy : Looking good! The rim is very detailed! Me likey.

Never thought that colouring book idea would be well received , when I have the time (well, in 2 days really) I'll try to whip one up. đź‘Ť
