That's what I was thinking as well.....it seems burti35's english may not be the absolute best, and I haven't quite understood what he meant my "soft tracks" ? Could you please explain ? đź’ˇ

There can be dual-purpose for touge courses because think about it- Japanese drifting fans get what they want, and they can also serve as great tarmac rally stages. I want to think of touge courses as rally courses and here's why. The courses have that rally feel to them. NO illegal street racing. We can make the courses professional. Block off the roads with police cars and concrete barriers, then it's just racing just as you like it. I see dual purpose and just reinforcing what I've stated earlier.

I think of drifting as rallying. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks like that. I think drifting is like rally racing, only that you're not up against time or in off-road conditions. Drifting and rallying have a few likenesses- opposite lock and sliding into the turns. Both of which need good skill to master the field of racing. You may not see the two as bearing some likeness, but I do, oddly.

THe more tracks, the better, as long as you have something to glance off of instead of a building with a corner that juts out and stops your car in it's tracks.

Armcos, please.

The more tracks, the better...

I second that! I'll really appreciate it if there are as many touge and other interesting tracks in GT5 as possible. They shoudln't have to be raced for 100% completion, as I guess some people just don't like them, but I'd like a variety of 'for fun' tracks. Somewhere to show off :P

I'd like to see them in so we can have a use for the tuner cars, but they'd have to do a completely new driving engine as in GT4 you can't do any drifting at all

Yes, considering that Touge drifting is a popular uprising in Japan and that Polyphony Digital love throwing in anything that is from 'Ja-pan they have a great basis to work from.

So in theory, why not?

I really do not care about this japanese culture. They have so much to offer, so I think that we shall all embrace an idea like this.

Or, some kind of:
Racing in desert in African territory
Drag Racing from US
Snow Endurances from North Europe
Uphill and Downhill from Southamerican Andes

Just let these categories arrive. I'll be very happy with more and more content.
