Hi guys hope the weekend has been good so far, got loads of snow here.
La mans racing for Wednesday will be 80's
And will do a 90's next week on Monti Carlo Mount. Hope that's okay with you Phil. Cars range between 697 and 711 but the higher pp the more twitchy they become. 800hp 900 weight RM

Room closed. It was nice while it lasted 👍

Top marks Gary on a great week of racing on a great track. 👍

I think Twissy has the fastest lap as far as I know with a 1'32.582 in race free air.

The following Wednesday I would like to introduce something like this video.

Make it real simple, any small car on a dead easy track close racing (stock) level playing field. With a hope of getting some to come back for the main weekly race.

I said last night, I wonder if we are making these events a little to hard for visitors, or whether its the quality of the field, Alexi, Spy, yourself, Mr D, Jon and so on, that puts visitors off staying.

Opening a public room early I get a number of guess come in but they find the going tough and don't stay, or even come to the main weekly event.

I'm advertising the two events each week where ever I can, two threads and two listings in the calendar to drum up more new blood (victims) we do have a couple of new members plus a couple of others asking to join us at TCR then run your second midweek break the following Wednesday.

Phillip.

Turbonato: Could you post this Wednesdays details Dave, which cars power – weight – PP. Track so I can transfer it to the proposed & past thread, plus enter it in the calendar for Wednesday 8th thanks.

Hi Phil, 800hp with 900 weight RM

Is the track still GT-Le-Mans Raceway S7

The only two cars that fit the bill I can find are.

Premium.
XJR-9 LM Race car '88 | 886bhp - 894Kg stock don't think I've changed the oil yet on this. Cr 4.750,000

Standard
Nissan R89C Race car '89 | 800bhp - 900Kg

These are the only two I can find for the '80s is there any others in the '80 I should look out for.

Phillip.

I was looking forward to a blast around the Le-mans track on Wednesday too, had my XJR-9 LM all ready. :nervous:

Hello chaps

Tonight we'll be testing the 3 tracks from the last 3 weeks, so we can decide on which we thought was best. The winner will be used for the rest of the week and will be added to the TCR Classic Tracks List!
You may already have a favourite, but it's worth having a refresher and see which PP or HP works well on the tracks. The tracks are...

1. GT Park (Viper)
2. Postbrough (Roadster TC)
3. Curving Lines (Vantage vs Cali)

We'll be using any car, yes that's right ANY CAR! There will be a PP (around 450-600) or Hp and weight limitation to suit the track, but other than that, it's a no holes barred event.

Laters 👍

See you soon!

Sorry I've been AWOL recently, family commitments and all, hope to be around this weekend for some more top notch racing 👍

Thanks Cobani I remember it like it was yesterday a big moment but what fun. Thanks to Gary and Phillip good work. But my vote goes for Potsbrough and I believe it has been resurfaced. See you guys on track. I have just been instructed that if I don't vote for my brother track the rents going up lol.

EDIT:Cobani you were also side ways, where are you in that picture?

Potsbrough

Can't see you put on the street Jon :sly: where would you plug the PS3 in.

+1

Phillip.

Although I don't mind any of them 3 great tracks 👍

My vote goes to Potsbrough.
Especially since it has been slightly widened.

I think the votes are as follows

Postbrough 2
Curving Lanes 1
GT Park 1

Looks like it's Potsbrough then!

Here are the regs

ANY CAR (If you can get it on track, you can use it)
520PP
Sports Hard

I will update the thread ASAP!

Darling Phil if you want to run La Mans for and hour on Wednesday the cars are
XJR 800hp 900w =695pp
C9 " " =711pp
R89 " " =708pp
Minolta " " =707pp

Best way to run these is by HP and weight.

ANYTHING GOES

This week we'll be revisiting Postbrough in ANYTHING BUT RACE CARS. After extensive rejuvenation at the track, it's a bit woodier to take a bit more horse power and should also mean there's more room for racing.

See you guys on track!

CURRENT COMBO : ANYTHING GOES

RACE NO: 17 OPEN

START DATE: Tuesday 7th February
CAR: ANYTHING BUT RACE CARS
PP: 520
TYRES: Sports Hard
TUNING: Allowed
ROOM NUMBER: SEE LAST POSTS
TRACK : Available from GTP_alexi

Some of the regulations may change, but will do my best to keep it updated.

Aaaaarrggghhh, clients are so flippin annoying.
Was planning on getting online early tonight, but just had a call from a client who needs something tomorrow. :banghead:

Will try to be online at some point.

Is it street cars only, or race cars as well?

My opinion, having race cars will make it all a bit of a mess as corning and straightline speeds will differ to much.

Here's the car I plan on running
EifelCircuit_80.jpg

Weight: A Mountain
Power: The Sun
Italian Playboy prowess: 10/10

Side note... My new helmet design

It's any car, so anything you want.
If you can get it on the track, you can use it.

I totally understand your concerns, so may adjust the regs as we go. We'll see what happens, but I suspect it will be race cars and possibly the odd tuned or concept cars that are fastest.

Below is the spiele taken from first post.

MONTHLY EVENT
As you have read above, TCR will be introducing a monthly event which will be ANY CAR, at a PP to suit the track we use.
The track will be decided by a general feel for which of the 3 tracks people enjoyed the most.
Because of the wide range of cars to choose and the fact that the track will be different every month, it will be interesting to see which race car comes out on top at each PP value.

MONTHLY TIMETABLE
TCR will operate on a 4 weekly cycle.
Week 1: Track 1, Car 1
Week 2: Track 2, Car 2
Week 3: Track 3, Car 3
Week 4: Best Track with ANY CAR within specified PP

👍

Cobani, you've outdone yourself.
What a beautiful shot.

Wife is ill watching shameless, will join if anyone is still around after.

I hope to go on track tonight mates, its been very busy of late... :yuck:

Every time i think "yes, now i have time to do some TCR" the phone rings (work) ,the missus wants to see some tv programme,or some other bullocks that prevents me from racing... :ouch:

So,maybe tonight i will get lucky(and i don't mean .... well,you know...) :sly:
