Hi Esotic, read page one for info. I would recomend it. It was my first night last night and had great fun. Watch this thread for when rooms pop up :)

Great to see such interest.
Look after them Dave!

I'll be online for some testing later. I'll be bringing jon's new track and he'll have another when he joins later.

👍

Guys if you can afford a std 458 good. If you can't I'm the bank manager you need to see. Interest depends how nice you are to me.

Thanks Dave.
Try not to double post though, we've already had a moderator on to us (Wes).

Got a 458 ready.
Will this be used on a new track of yours?

I'll also be bringing an M3 GTR and RUF GT as this is what Jon recommended I use on his track.

I would also like to see what the Nismo 270R is like once it's been maxed out.

Looks like we've got a good selection of cars/tracks to test.
Doing my best to get online around 8pm.

👍

I thought it was a given on sites like these that double posting is pretty frowned upon, since it wastes pages or already hard to manage content, but my mistake. :P

I used to hang around a lot on GameWinners.com Forums, so I know about the general rules.

Anyway, tonight I'll be at work from 10pm til 3am, but I'm leaving earlier to walk since I now have no car. Things will be like this until thursday, since I do this shift three straight nights a week. :(

Only good thing about this is that I don't have Alexi embarrassing me on the track. Hahaha, I'm kidding, but if you noticed my earlier post Alexi, I got major respect for you after last night.

Dan.

Hey guys. Just a quick thanks to Jon for that prize car a while back! Hopefully I'll be able to join yous this week for some TCR!

I’ve put three new videos on my youtube channel if anyone would like to view them; I’ve been playing with Eifel short track (Kart) Fit Racing circuit, this is a tight track about 3 cars wide so making it door to door, based for the slower cars upto about 390pp, anything from Cup cars to electric, vintage or premium will be good fun.

The longer Eifel(circuit) Mountain climb in the wet, (keep you fit) one track is longer than the other, here I’ve taken the track building to its limit in sectors, again apart from the home straight its only 3 cars wide, adding a little dampness makes for full concentration at all times.

As you climb, what is as close as I could find for now, a mountain type track with Plato’s(2 of) for out and out full on racing and drafting before the descent, you’ll notice it’s in sections of
Twisty – flat out straight / Twisty – flat out straight / Twisty – flat out straight

Alternating for the 7 sectors of the track, I used any of the Lexus 473bhp cars Bandai / Eneos / Sard / Tom’s on inters or racing hard tyres.

If you would like to try your hand at these let me know and I’ll put them up for share, I picked the Single race option so as to run with other cars on track not the time trial option, you do have to watch out for the AI braking in places you don’t expect.

Phillip.

Its a good track. Did it in a RS200 which im entering in the VCRC Ford RS200 Event this Sunday. Learning on tight, fiddely tracks will defo help.

I just downloaded Boxton Circuit 7.
Have you tested it? If you have what do you think?

Alexi and myself are working on trying to find a combo that will offer serious racing and entertainment. Last night was the first time I had the luxury of testing Silverline Circuit online and I felt that the middle sector was way to bumpy, I have fixed it but have shared Boxston Circuit for Alexi and anybody for testing tonight with any

My brothers Track was super fun in the 458 and what a car but I'm just worried that the track is more of a time trial track as there is only one line and think the track will suite a lower powered car/cars only because it would be difficult to follow someone with a high powered car. But you have to give it a go, even my brother was laughing at me because normally I'm quick at finding a racing line around a track but last night I was the one learning.

Glad you found that track entertaining Rob, very simple track to learn after two or three laps you have it, you have to work the car hard up and down the gear box in between the corners there is no let up, by the time you get into 4th its time to come back down the box again, this way keeping you engaged at all times.

There are 2 or 3 hundred cars premium and standard in the game which would be just boring on the more open track. I feel it a shame that we have so many cars to choose from, if we don’t design track to suit them it’s pointless having them in the game or your garage. Even using 500pp all the time can get stale like a crusty bit of bread after time.

The other two videos (Tracks) are a little long, but I wanted to see if the tight close racing on the twisty sections helped bunch the cars up, before letting rip full on gas of the straight sections, adding weather gives that sort of mountain type misty look and a bit less traction here and there.

I feel if a track can make you do just that one more lap on your own, or just one section of the track that you just have to run through there again, then it’s a winner.

Hope the shared track helps with your event Rob. 👍

Phillip.

Edit: I have Jon this morning, like it better than Silverline, more engaging

The racing from you guys is extraordinary, and just seeing those videos confirms it! A shame I had work last night, it looks like I missed out on a lot of fun.

Thats a big list of cars Jon, think I'll just stick a pin in the garage and see what comes out. :)

I'll have to try the RS200, most small cars will fit, I was using the Toyota Celica 1600GT 1970 all aids off including ABS and TCS on sport hard or comfort soft.

Added that bit more to the track not having ABS & TCS to help you, as a car from the 1970 more than likley would not have these anyway, good to try and master it in the game too. :scared:

If you want to try the other two tracks just say i'll put one to share so you can download it.

It's not really..... anything that says Amuse, Mines, Spoon, Nismo, Opera Performance and I added the two front wheel drive cars for those that like ff.

Simplz :)

Edit:And it's not like we would chase anybody away if they don't have these cars or cars for future combos but this is what we would recommend. We would almost all the time have the advantage on them and if people choose a car that is so fast that they’re at the front all by themselves. Well……then they would be missing out on the fun.

I meant for testing Jon, see what suits the track I'll be up till 2am :P

Got any match sticks

Hey everyone

Loving the activity on this thread. Nice to see it's not just my incessant waffling that gets documented here.

Some great videos Jon, but did you have to show the race when I spun twice? :dunce: lol

Anyway, I'm finishing up work now and will be on for some testing/racing in an hour.

If you've got one of the tracks, you can start without me :)
Phil's normally the man 👍

I see a number of members in the thread, some may not have a friends contact so I'll open a public room so they can join if they wish.

TCR - Testing / Race: Room open 1472-6399-9009-5386-4950Closed

We can always change to a lounge if need be.

Now who’s got a Spoon for stirring my cuppa

Ha we've only just got the house back to normal, after the destruction derby of the grand kids staying for two days.

I’m getting to old for all this, but it would be like losing a limb if they didn’t come.

I’ll be on soon.

BOX, STOCK AND 2 SMOKING EXHAUSTS

Here's a picture of my karting buddies at Brands Hatch, doing what we all wish we could do. The Integra was quickest apparently, but I think that's more down to the fact the others were in RWD cars and were scarred of sticking it in the barrier.

After a very successful week with the any car option, we're going for a similar flavour this week. You'll be able to use ANY CAR, no race cars, but it does include the tuners manufacturers. We're not going to allow tuning, so only some of the tuners manufactures are able to get on the track.

See you guys on track!

CURRENT COMBO : BOX, STOCK AND 2 SMOKING EXHAUSTS

RACE NO: 18 OPEN

START DATE: Wednesday 15th February
CAR: ANY CAR (including tuners cars, but no race cars)
PP: 470
TYRES: Sports Hard
TUNING: Prohibited
ROOM NUMBER: SEE LAST POSTS
TRACK : Available from GTP_alexi and GTP_Joylord - Boxstons Circuit
ROOM NAME: TCR - 470PP STOCK

Some of the regulations may change, but will do my best to keep it updated.

👍

Especially around Paddock Hill. I've seen a big Jag roll down there. Good
pic though 👍
What layout, 'Indy or National'?

I thought there was only 2 layouts at brands hatch, Indy and GP ? There a national layout ?

Will try and join in tonight 👍
