I really liked the flow of the circuit, and where it was positioned was an optimal place for tourism. Battery Park, the World Trade Center, it had it all!

Well that turned into more than a few hours. Ive had a rough last few days :lol:

, but mostly I just forgot to move the contest forward. Apologies, again....

Anyways, moving on!! The next round of track design. With the 2015/2016 Formula E season opener from Bejing just a little under one month away, I thought we could do the FIA a little favour and redesign their most aweful Bejing Street Circuit.

So, location is Bejing. Style is Formula E, so max distance of 2.5 miles, needs a pitlane, but a funky Formula E pitlane will work.

If you want to try to improve the current circuit, I'm ok with that. If you would like to do something different, in a different part of the city, I'm ok with that too. Maybe just clarify with your entry if it's an original or a modification....not that it really matters, it just helps me think :lol:

I've selected @Jimlaad43 as the winner of the Formula E Bejing round. I liked the location, and while not the most dynamic track ever, there are good overtaking spots and a decent variety of corners.

The Spanish Grand Prix is staying at Barcelona, but the circuit organisers have finally seen sense and decided to redesign Catalunya to make it interesting to both drive and race.

Please redesign the Circuit de Catalunya to allow for better F1 racing.

I would like it if a track-designing competition was held every month. In that way, anyone could make a track at anytime, and it most likely will increase users competing.

I know it is all in good fun, but that stupid chicane before the last corner was installed to reduce speed onto the straight, but you went and made it 10x worse :lol:

You probably can't have no chicane at either end of the main straight... Might have to move the first corner in slightly in so that you'll have enough run off.
