how so?

Edit:
Mon-K
I'm sure that banning you is much faster. And someone will even enjoy it (like me. I don't like arrogance).

Mon-K

oooo.... that sucks...

.....seriously though, what type of board offers font tags if your not allowed to use them?

dbartucci - HOW many attacks?

(and my calculations show you've got at least one fire catapult in each raid)

Edit: Apparently I've upset Paragon. 38 attacks - 32 from dbartucci, 6 from boom. Boo-hoo.

I won't need it... :D

I'm guessing that my indigo has upset Heretic, so he's throwing his toys out of the pram...

Sorry, boom...

200 dead plays 71 dead... :D

"None of your soldiers has returned"

I've got more troops than the rest of Shiva combined.

What boom ran into wasn't even half of it - just what I determined would be sufficient for the potential threat from Paragon. The attack from dbartucci/anaracaix is more troubling, as it contains fire catapults in each separate force, but what I have in my village now should suffice.

If not... Meh. I've only got myself to blame - someone big was going to attack me sooner or later. I should have put more soldiers there. But I doubt I'll have much rebuilding to do at 11am tomorrow morning.

Edit: How strange. All the incoming attacks on me have been cancelled... How this is possible when they were 4 hours out from home escapes me, but I'm not complaining... :D

Edit Edit: Wuh Tuh Fuh? dbartucci's village - Tenochtitlan - has been taken over by anaracaix while his troops - SENT by anaracaix - were out. A Paragon member attacking another Paragon member?

Sounds like they've got bigger problems to worry about than attacking you Famine.

*EDIT* - Oooooh, a Chief! That explains it then.

Do you have any idea how they could have cancelled those attacks?

From what I understand, if a village's allegiance changes, any outgoing troops have their missions cancelled and they return to base.

I think db has sort of abandoned the game of sorts, but his account is still there. I'll go check the GTP-R forum to see what GMC said about db. :)

edit: OK, here:

grandmacougar
Dave (dbartucci) has recently given up his .com account and .net account to focus on other things.

When I gave up the account anaracaix expressed interest in taking it over as a sitter, after discussions with me, Boom, JPM, Chris and others in the chat it was decided that anaracaix would be permitted to take over my main village. Other players have expressed interest in taking over BBII. Currently members of my alliance sit for me.

Anaracaix picked up a prime piece of real estate.

As for the attacks, when a village is taken over the troops don't return to base, but die, this is to avoid the problem of a teuton controlling gaul troops, etc. I should also add that all troops from that village die, including those reinforcing other villages at the time.

I'm still in the game as grandmacougar's sitter in the alliance GTP-R, and I play (less frequently) in .net still as Chris is too busy to really take over the account and DemonSeed didn't express interest in it.

Ah. GMC is thinking of giving you access to the private sections of the GTP-R forum, anyway.

This is great! It was my idea for anaracaix to attack Famine. I wanted to see Famine's reaction, and no, this was not all over a font color, it was just for fun. boom sent his troops so they would die. He didn't want them anymore.

Also, the attacks stopped 4 hours away because anaracaix took the village from dbartucci now that dbartucci quit. When he took the village, all of the troops related to the village died.

Thanks Famine!

I needed to get rid of those troops. Hope I didn't upset you too much. :)

oooo.... if that's the case, Famine can I get rid of my legionnaires by either attacking your village or sending them as reinforcement?

The only way to disband troops is to attack somebody with troops, so I guess you could do that. I posted a disband option suggestion in the Travian forums and they all laughed.

I actually think it's a good idea. There comes a time when certain troops may become obsolete. As for attacking Famine, I'll just wait to see what he says lest he gets scared from another set of attacks from paragon.

The only reason we did it in the first place was to be funny. anaracaix and I knew that the troops wouldn't make it to his village before anaracaix took the village.
