Trial Mountain Surprise Night - Monday, April 18th. All Welcome!

Okay, so it's time for a new track in the Fun Racing Group. This time we'll be hitting Trial Mountain's Reverse Course!

As always everyone is welcome - especially newer drivers. Driving aids are allowed.

We are going to be running a short series consisting of 3 laps around the Trial Mountain Reverse Circuit on Monday, April 18th at 9:00pm GMT. There will also be a practice race session on Sunday, April 17th at 8:30pm GMT(in a different car than the one we'll be running Monday). All GTP members are welcome to this.

The room opens on Monday at 8:30pm for practice/qualifying.

The race will be held in my lounge, so add me if you haven't done so already. My PSN handle is MH4wheel, and please write "Fun Racers" in the subject. Please do NOT join the room before 8:30pm, as this might cause problems in the setup. And do remember to clear network cache and restart your PS3 before joining.

You will not know what car you are racing until you join the room. The car will be ready to pick up in the garage at 8:30pm GMT. All you need to do is choose the color and tires. There will be no points awarded, but there will be a prize car to the winner. Please try to keep the racing as clean as possible. But don't be too alarmed about the odd bump, alright? Chatter while driving is more than welcome, so grab your headset.

Please post below if you are interested, even if you are already a member of the club, and/or have raced before. A few is good, but the more the merrier.

Was Not expecting having a reserve car list. I'm shocked! This will be an amazing turn out if no one Disconnects. The Waiting list will work as such, Should someone on the regular list be unable to make the event then a driver on the waiting list will be moved into the open position on the grid. A good example of that would be Eidolon not being able to make the practice today. His spot will be vacant and a driver from the waiting list will be able to fill it.

Don't worry, I haven't gotten a chance to get back on, but I've got several b-spec friends who have up and disappeared. I'll clear them out and get back to you.

We pick cars from the recommended list, usually running in the 250-400hp range. Nothing too powerful, we enjoy the thrill of driving our best while still keeping it comfortable for new comers.

Oh, and also. Is your PSN the same as your GTP name?

Count me in! Not sure if I can make it for the second week yet, but at least I'll join the first week.

In last weeks thread Kwaka suggested we have a six race series, with the best five races counting for each one. I like that idea, considering all the connection issues and what not. I can keep track of score, but again – with the connection issues it's best for the host to keep score, as the host seems to be the only one always able to see all racers, no matter what.

Keeping track of the score is quite simple. Take pics of all the results (after each race), and when the racing is done just plot the results into an Excel document. Summarize and sort, and you have the winner.

As said, I can do it, but I think it's best if the host does the score thing as well as hosting.

My camera consists of running down to Walgreen's and having the film developed. I could do it with Saved replays though and review the footage after each race.

Or you could just look at the raceresults after the race and quickly write them down. It takes 30 seconds, I did it when I hosted

Hi guys...I have just realised I have an important cricket league meeting (with the season about to start) on Monday night.
