@Rallywagon -- This just means you've officially become a GTP veteran. :) 👍 Most of us start out in the GT section but move on to other sections of the site that contain less poo-flinging (only less, not none; this is the internet after all). Things are at their worst in the three-year period spanning any GT release -- from a year before to a year after -- so it should calm down some. Since you're a Premium member you could also join the discussion in the GT VIP forum.

@watermelonpunch Funny, I see trolling more as a quality thing. Post all you want, so long as those posts add to the descussion or debate. It only takes one post to start trolling. Same with sarcasim. I mean just because there is sarcasim in a post, doesn't mean it doesn't contribute.
I see what your saying about the president thing, I guess that could be up to opinion and interpretation. however, the post did get the point across. A popular view is not always the right one. A better example. Way back when, the popular though was that the planet was flat and everything circled around it.

@Wolfe, thanks, I've been around the forum for a couple of years now. It actually got me back into playing GT5. I wasn't really into online racing at first for the obvious reasons, same ones that afflict the drift/drag forums here. Little kids and their toys I guess. When I started up the GT5 drift forum wasn't so bad, The GT6 drift section on the other hand. Gaah.

I should've said that it was a quality within quantity issue. Obviously yes, some posts on their own are so bad they qualify as trolling on their own.

And yeah, obviously there are provable points of science (like gravity) that are not subject to interpretation.
If I jump off a 10 foot wall, I will not hang in mid air.
But in the case of some things... Maybe someone prefers vanilla because they're allergic to chocolate. Or maybe someone is lactose intolerant so they can't have ice cream at all. Perfectly reasonable for someone like that to avoid chocolate ice cream and view it as personally bad... doesn't mean it's bad for all the people who love ice cream and eat it safely.

I wish, of course, there were more things absolutely provable by science. It would save us a lot of headache wouldn't it? Or maybe people would still find a way to hate reality, after all. Six of one half dozen of another.

Still, people can be rude without being actually nasty. And people can be angry & express it, without being hostile. I think some people simply don't know how, or don't see the point. :(

But, while "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" makes sense, "buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo" doesnt.
Apply Ham Sandwich and you solve all your problems. If that doesn't work, apply Miata to the answer.

It makes all the sense. We solved the GTP equation, which holds the answer to the GT5 and 6 forums.

In conclusion. Our solution made roughly the same amount of sense that the GT6 forums make on any given day.
