Hello hello,

Any chance to get a spot as reserve driver in this league? I was replacing GRM-Bandit in his Jag since he couldn’t make the race today. Quite enjoyed myself; thought I might be able to get another bite of cherry.

Cheers,
Maarten

Hello and welcome and well done on last night performance. I'm goin to find out for defo as there mite be 2 cars available
Nissan GTR
Or McLaren as I'm sure Mika mite of left but I'll confirm later for 100% soon :)

Thanks for the invite @fastnloud30 !

Sugar Rush Performance was glad to fund that Nissan seat. Japanese chocolatebar brand Black Thunder was happy to see another sponsored car on the grid, since it's one of their home GP's!

I really enjoyed the race, but was disappointed by forgetting to put the mandatory RH tire on. Forgot we had to use both tires (2nd time in such an event that I forgot), which was a disappointing note on my strong race. I really thought I had the pace to be 3rd or even 4th looking at how easily I could follow CJ and Joe around the track early in the race. Went with a gutsy call to go with a 2-stop and hoping I could undercut them with fresher tires in the 2nd stint, before having the upper hand on pace and fresher tires in the last stint so I could catch them towards the end of the race. Was really surprised with the Nissan's performance, because I don't even drive this thing at all.

A chance missed!

Kudos on CJ and Joe for the close and clean wheel-to-wheel, bumper-to-bumper racing! This is what makes me happy! :embarrassed:
Kudos on organizing this Quali+Race format! I really enjoyed it and thought it was very intriguing strategy with how we were able to choose how much fuel to start the race with and the benefit to choose a different fresher tire if we qualify lower than 10th!

Kudos as always for @Hasse R ! Commentating at its best! Almost went berserk like the Japanese commentators do when drama happens on the track!

It was a pleasure to watch and thankyou well if you want to keep it goin seat there for you, as seen as you stopped more than anyone else you done a great job fighting back.

I've got to be honest the driving looked a lot more realistic with the strategy taking place. The wheel to wheel action was unreal to watch. I was off my seat watching Sam and Joe go full on to the last few laps. Fantastic.

I'm looking forward to round 2 :)

That was a fun race to do with that extra chicane! I went as far as possible on purpose with those Mediums, it has served me as a big test with those updated physics and low tyre wear ratio. The Qualifying format & global race concept is really interesting. I like the fact to have a few laps of qualifying to settle your grid position. It also gives the opportunity to save the qualifying session as a replay. it was a bit confusing at first, but with Dirten's latests explanations, it was all clear.

I have to admit that my year old setup made on the first physics of the game still works pretty well for the car (and it's already a very good car by itself). Now, it's time for @dad24dh to take back his place in the cockpit! I'll still be around in case you want a replacement driver. or if there's a spot to take. (still need to check the calendar)

(Btw, you can steal my pictures without issues :D )

It was a pleasure to have you take part again. If there's a spot free your welcome anytime. I did watch the replay of the qually, it was a change to watch was good. I like the idea we still use the live times in HTRG so all drivers can check time gaps to each other. Thanks again :)

Part of the fun of this series especially is people aren't using their favourite car. Me in the GTR, Sam in the Aston, etc. Spices it up a bit.

Looking forward to tomorrow :D I know I'm off the pace but I'm blaming the cars complete lack of straight line speed. Yam has betrayed me with my past success in the GTR power boat.

I am too, can't believe it's a week tomorrow already lol. You can do it just think of the cornering speed #bumperdraft :)

I’m gonna have to withdraw my entry from the series. Can find an opening to get in time to race every now and then.
My spot can be taken whoever wants it.
It’s a shame but I’ll be watching the streams, Good luck to all for tomorrow

Right guys tonight's race lobby will be open from as early as 20:00uk 21:00cet.
For quallifing will hopefully start 20:45uk 21:45cet if everyone can get there at least 5 mins early before qually start that will help massively.

I'm sure we are goin to be low on numbers so I'm either goin to give the last 4 have fresh rubber or ditch it for everyone to start on tyres qualified on. Will see on numbers.

I wish everyone the best of luck. Thanks

Great racing guys and welldone to yous all. I can't thank yous enough for making the effort to go out your ways not only to make a livery for the series bit making the effort to race each week :) .

Well done to top 3
1st joeofthefire
2nd samdigby
3rd crazyjohnishere

Can I ask for one favour for next race after Q2 can yous wait in the pits please until I give the order, as when I'm setting grid order I nearly missed out cj time as when a car leaves the pits the time sheet changes position each time a car leaves. Everything else was great and great action to watch. Thankyou :)
