@fastnloud30 !
Sugar Rush Performance was glad to fund that Nissan seat. Japanese chocolatebar brand Black Thunder was happy to see another sponsored car on the grid, since it's one of their home GP's!
I really enjoyed the race, but was disappointed by forgetting to put the mandatory RH tire on. Forgot we had to use both tires (2nd time in such an event that I forgot), which was a disappointing note on my strong race. I really thought I had the pace to be 3rd or even 4th looking at how easily I could follow CJ and Joe around the track early in the race. Went with a gutsy call to go with a 2-stop and hoping I could undercut them with fresher tires in the 2nd stint, before having the upper hand on pace and fresher tires in the last stint so I could catch them towards the end of the race. Was really surprised with the Nissan's performance, because I don't even drive this thing at all.
A chance missed!
Kudos on CJ and Joe for the close and clean wheel-to-wheel, bumper-to-bumper racing! This is what makes me happy!
Kudos on organizing this Quali+Race format! I really enjoyed it and thought it was very intriguing strategy with how we were able to choose how much fuel to start the race with and the benefit to choose a different fresher tire if we qualify lower than 10th!
Kudos as always for
@Hasse R ! Commentating at its best! Almost went berserk like the Japanese commentators do when drama happens on the track!
