TSR

I’m done. I need to back out. I can’t keep driving like this with the pad when I’m so much faster on the wheel on the pc. It makes me so bloody angry and then I drive worse. Should just buy a wheel and get it over with.
I'm gutted for you. Well if you change your mind your welcome to carry on. If there's someone who would take your place that be much appreciated :)

You guys might be peasants, but you can certainly race! Fantastic result for half of the Nukeshot squad as Joe and Maarten took the 1-2, while myself and CJ were a bit less fortunate. If I actually had the time I would practice a bit more (or actually practice at all lol). Really enjoying this new experience. You guys are doing a fantastic job! :D

Look, I gotta say it is MUCH harder now to be quick on pad but it is workable!! If you ever want me to throw a tune on the table I pretty much have a setup ethos that fits most cars.

One to forget, but one that could have been so much more!

First of all congrats to @DrifterJoe and @MaarteN5H. Tremendous race!

The speed was there, practice was promising and I put in a lap, which put me .2s behind @DrifterJoe going into qualifying. I forgot I was on RH's, so I started quali on RH's, which compromised my position before quali even began.

I was thinking of starting the race on RH's just to get the slow tire out of the way in the beginning, so I didn't even got a lap that was worth a qualifying lap. :yuck:

Then I bottled strategy wise as well. I went in after only 4 laps on RH's just to get the faster tire on quickly. Planning a 3-stops when everyone was going on a 1-stop? This was mental. :dunce:

Add to that, when it all mattered at the latter stages and I was reeling in @Sam digby , I binned it, in which my strategy became a disastrous 4-stop.

Consolidation was a penultimate lap overtaking on my ex-employer @PSN offapple . (sorry Boss)

After forgetting the RH's in Suzuka and this shambolic strategy in Fuji, I must be punching myself! :banghead::banghead:

Onto the next, if there will be a next...

I did a stint of RMs in practice to see when the car got to a point of no return on the pace... 20+laps before they were even close to dropping off to RH pace. You could get away with over 30 laps before they rolled over and died.

What I do is see how fast I can go on hards in practice, then then use that laptime as a rough estimate for when to change from my mediums in the race. It's normally around 2/3 race distance.

Good thing I made the extra stop to get fastest lap. I managed to beat waike to it by .113

Knowing that crossover is key to making late RH laps work. I tend to prefer the strong finish, but I messed up Lap 2 of quali so I ran my tyres into the 2nd phase, hoping I could break toe and catch a rhythmn once we went green.

Also, to the guys that were battling with me in the early phase, I could tell most of you had downforce coz you almost ran into the back of me in a number of corners. I had min aero to max out the top end, which meant my braking zones were longer.

Had to be smart with my defence; any time I was on the outside I made sure I went deeper and was the first to turn in, if I was on the inside I made sure to modulate the brakes to remain alongside or a nose ahead and dictate the room the outside had for turning in.

It’s just the Technique. I’ve lost it by the feel of things. Just not as fluid as I once was

It’s enfuriating because I was really quick in gt5 and gt6 on pad. I played a lot with welsh in gt5 so I don’t know if he can remember how quick I was! That’s what annoys me even more haha.

I do remember having a bit of a brainfart during the pit-stops in Q.. Wasn’t sure I’d accidentally fitted new rubbers, but turns out I did. Totally my mistake, sorry!

Jumpstart? I saw Green! in the chat, so I floored it...

Are the points added to my name, because I was @WhiteFlight1 's reserve?

I've done some combining of the points. I've dropped your round 1 points from when you ran separate, and merged WhiteFlights round 1 with your round 2 + 3.

It makes sense to me at least :D

Yes, it makes sense.

If I don't drive the Porsche as a reserve, then don't add the points in the standing. I'll then drive a race that doesn't count for the Championship.

I can insert you as a separate entry also, if you like? Currently only your suzuka round 1 result would count for that.

Nah, not necessary. It will only create confusion. If I don't drive the Porsche, then it's an wild-card entry => non-championship

Sadly I seem to continue my 'having the pace but not taking home the points' streak in de TSR GT300 championship..
Luckily for me it was all self-induced, so there's only myself to blame. Plenty of work to be done still!

Shout-out to our new German friends DR_HASH and Halbstark093 for having the pace right up there in their first appearance this season (especially in an un-tuned Lambo)! Also to vrsStig for nailing his strategy once again and T5Black to have found himself right back into the top of the field. of course last-but-not-least to JoeOfTheFire for an untouchable performance once again (expect for some choreographed bump-drafting)!

Already looking forward to the Maggiore GP! Cheers

Great pleasure having you racing. That was one of my best races for a long time. I couldn't even drive the car 2 days before without spinning or crashing as had terrible snap steer through my wheel on fast direction changes, thank God with the fanatec bmw wheel I was able to tune the wheel to stop all of that. My foot is still shaking now off t1 abs vibration, 95kg pressure measured after cj slipstream:lol::lol::lol:
