i'm interested in this, but i have 2 questions:

1) are we allowed to modify the suspension, brakes, etc. as well as the engine, nos, tyres and tranny?
2) would it be ok if i sent my replay as an action replay max file using my max drive?

Thanks for your interest in this Nitro, and yes you can tune your car the way you like. and i don`t have a max drive so just post your time, I don`t think you will cheat.....

The car was set up originally for the Nurburgring, so i didn't have to do very much to the suspension. just added more wing and fiddled with the brake ballast and the gears.

Nice time jgda9rs, I am going to see if I can match it in my Mugen S2000. Hope to have the final time up sometime soon, just did a time in the 56's. Going to try and get it down.

very nicely done drift! you didnt kill my time ? a full 1.6 seconds in motorsports qualifying is pretty much killing it hahaha. i shall try again. don't know if i should use a different car. oh btw, what do u use to record and transfer gt4 replays onto the computer ? i wanna do that.

Haha, I guess you are right. I would think of killing your time as being over 5 seconds or something like that.

I want to do it again too, maybe a different class. Try and get in the 40's.

This is (IMO) one of the most underrated cars in the game. This car has one of the best v6 engines to come out of the ford factory (it's actually a yamaha engine but ford has technology in it too) and for a family sedan it has great handling
If only they had the v8 SHO in this game im sure all the skylines and supras would have a run for their money.

Report : Car handles very good, and has great power and acceleration, but could still use some improvement. Had a great run considering i was only using Soft Tires, no NOS or driver aids.

yea it's amazing what a stock cobra can do with some stickies and tweaking the transmission. im going to see what it can do with some mods next.

Report: Like with any blown Big Block Ford...traction is not a friend to this car. Because of it's short wheel base (shorter than most cars) it is very easy to oversteer with this much HP. 730HP to be exact. due to having no traction and a hard time steering(using the PS2 controller) i was only able to muster up about a second faster than stock.

Report: A lot easier to keep on the track than when supercharged due to less HP and TQ but still is quite fast. watching the ghost, the Supercharged version outran on straights but N/A 1 performed better in corners keeping the times quite close

Report: Same as N/A 1 but just as fast in the straights as the supercharged.

Report: Nice performer, found it easier to keep under control than the supercharged.

Tip: during hard braking the car likes to get out of control, i found it helpful to add more braking to the rear and stiffin up the front springs a little in order to combat this. If someone else tries this car and found another way to help with this please post your solution

I could beat these times but i couldn't find my "grove" so i'll try again tonight and update.
I would like to see someone beat these times so I have some sort of motivation.
