True, but it's not really about the credits, it's about developing an incentive to keep people playing the game. Most of my buddies run the TT just to get the money and that's it. Rarely do they try for a top time although many of them are certainly capable of it. Beyond personal pride which has it's own motivation, money/prizes/bonuses etc. will keep some of them coming back and playing the game. Even though credits are easy to come by, look how that small change in the A-Spec events has changed how some of us approach it. It's now a real challenge to find the lowest PP car in a particular event for some people, which keeps us playing the game, which is exactly what PD should want. It's developing brand loyalty, priceless in retail:idea:
I understand & agree with all you say, but they should just keep the credits realistic. Being human, I hate wasting. Even ficticious virtual money. So I'm constantly trying to find something to spend the bucks on. After numerous FGT's, a horde af F40's as 'cash' cars, 3 of each of the 20m cars, 3 X1's, 3 each of the Frerrari F1's & a host of other expensive cars too numerous to mention, it almost becomes an irritation finding something to buy. What a contradiction!
On another note, any tips for me on this, anyone? I use a Logitech DF Pro wheel & am reall struggling on the hairpin & 2nd from last turn at Monaco, due to the huge amount of turn required on the wheel. Are there any settings I can change to improve this? It's costing me loads of time.
