TT 49: 500PP NSX @ Motegi East/ 600PP 60's RC's @ Tokyo

Hey, have you ever heard of a typo? I don't need your advice on the English language thank you. His post was just plain pathetic compared to my few typos. There is a difference when you can't even understand what the heck he is trying to say. Also, I said it in a joking way if you take the time to notice the "lol" at the end of my first sentence to him. So just relax yourself there pal.

I was just trying to show you how annoying it is when someone gives criticism all the time, because now you see that it isn't nice when somebody does it to you. Anyway, my English is also far from perfect. As long as we understand each other we shouldn't comment on language. We are all just trying to get by. :)

Your post made my head hurt, lol. Please use proper grammar, pununctiation, etc as per the AUP. Also, if you bothered to read my previous posts, I clearly stated that I am not participating in this time trial therefor I have no car and no setup for this event. As I recall, there are two setups posted in this thread that you could try. If your car is spinning on every corner, maybe its your throttle control...or lack thereof. I don't know what setup you're using so I don't know how else to help you.

hi dude.sorry about that.i wrote that post briefly.i used available tunes and not useful for me.please help me to improve my record and tnx all guys for sharing.sorry about your broken heart.pardon me buddy

Sorry for interrupting the petty bickering, but I had another go at tuning the NSX.

Modifications as before.

Ballast 200kg, position 25
Power limiter 95.4%
Wing 8

Makes 352bhp @ 1251kg for 500ppts

Gears
Max speed 124mph
1st 3.801
2nd 2.843
3rd 2.344
4th 1.924
5th 1.610
6th 1.370
Final 3.336

Diff 10, 15, 10

Ride -25, +40
Spring 14.4, 16.0
Rebound 4, 10
Bound 4, 6
ARB 2, 7
Camber 2.0, 2.0
Toe 0, 0
Brakes 4, 3

Only 24th with a 1:31.350, but doesn't look like anyone else from the sharp end of the leaderboards has posted anything, so thought I might as well post it.

Should find this has a bit more rear end grip - though pad users may want to add a bit more wing and lose a bit of power.

g27 best set up?feedback?

I have FF on 10 and power steering on, but I think steering settings are more a matter of personal choice.

Big thanks but i have lsd 5 10 5 and wing on 20 so i did it in 1.31.644

Using that much wing will obviously make you a bit slower as you'll need to reduce the power quite a bit... try gradually reducing the wing and increasing the power as you get used to the way the car reacts... I started with the wing at 12.

I found if I reduced the diff any further than the settings I posted it bled too much power away on the corner exits... ideally I'd like to run a higher accel setting, but that does make the car harder to drive.

Sorry, but for me his posts are annoying...if the post doesnt concern him, why has he to comment it in a harsh way?

Agreed, you're not the only one who sees it that way. 👍
But hey, GTP is full of these faux-mods and these virtual mother-in-laws.

PS. Stotty, do you think your tune can enter 30s?

Pununctiation? Really? You complain about language while you make up words as you go along? (Therefor (for that, for it) is also wrong, as you probably mean therefore. (hence, as a consequence of)) (Its is another example, because the context suggests you mean it's. (Its is a possessive pronoun meaning, of it or belonging to it; while it's is a contraction of it is or it has.))
In the land of the blind, One-eye is king I guess.
I know you mean well and you are probably a nice person, but you are also quick to judge others and that is not always a good thing. (I know, because I have the same character flaw.)

Would you like to know who at GT Planet tells members how they should and shouldn't post?

The staff.

Your not a member of staff and as such should refrain from acting like one, unless you wish to experience first hand how the staff deal with AUP violations and those who think they can lecture other members of posting standards.

The simple truth is that a good number of members in this thread need to re-read the AUP, in particular the parts regarding the need to use good basic grammar and not use Text speak.

Top quoted post should not reffer just to Touro73, or is the staff biased towards Premium members, so that they don't have to follow the AUP?

Dude, relax yourself. I was just giving a friendly reminder as do alot of people here on these forums. If there is something wrong with that, I'm sure Scaff or another member of the staff will tell me. It's not really for you to decide. I see alot of posts daily in these forums with people doing the same thing I did, just a friendly reminder.

Not a smart move at all.

Did you miss this part of my post.....

The simple truth is that a good number of members in this thread need to re-read the AUP, in particular the parts regarding the need to use good basic grammar and not use Text speak.

...the part in which I expanded my comment to include all members posting in this thread. As such no bias is present in regard to my post at all, and as you also have no way of knowing what other moderation action has or has not been taken in regard to any member you are speaking without the whole picture.

I will make this simple for you, if you have an query regarding moderation you PM a member of staff, if you think a member of staff is biased then take it to the site owner or an Admin via PM, what you don't do is open it up for public discussion.

Oh and to everyone posting in here continue to break the AUP or drag this thread off topic and you will get a two day holiday from GT Planet.

Slight improvement today. I'm now at a 1:30.930 and this was by moving my BB from 5/7 to 5/8. I'm now consistantly running splits that can get me a .7xx, I just need to get it all together. I'm running consistant .7s on T1 and beating B4NN4Mi over there :)

Thanks a million Stotty that tune helped me shave 1.5 seconds off my best time and I think I'm about as far up the table as my lack of skill will allow. I did have to tweak it a little to add a touch more downforce and less power as you suggested for the DS3. Thanks again 👍

Hey guys, I got a few things to announce. I got a 1:33.678 on Tokyo so that means I'm in the top 10 in both events :) You probably won't care much about that after the next announcement: Here's the setup I've been using on Motegi!

How to set the gears:
1. Reset
2. Set top speed to 200km/h (124mph)
3. 1st gear
4. 2nd gear
5-9. 3rd through Final gear

The car has about 270 miles (435km) on it.

Big thanks to ScrepRC for sharing his car and letting me post the setup here.
Sorry for the poor picture quality, that's Apple's problem

@doodle: Good job my little friend. Good to see you doing well in these time trials. I've witnessed your improved progress over the last several months and its been fun to watch. Keep up the great work and hope to see you get the #1 spot sometime soon. You derserve it little man. Peace.

Actually #15 in Motegi. Thanks very much to doodlemonoply and ScrepRC for sharing a setup.

@doodlemonoply - actually I'm only a little bit slower than you so I'm going to beat my record :)

EDIT: After doing everything with your manual, I achieved 358HP/359Nm in my NSX (0km mileage, now I have 48,0km and it's all the same), I don't know why you have only 353HP. Maybe you have more mileage.

The leaderboards are gone strange,
looks like the data for the top 250 times has been lost.
(Except the name, time & date)

EDIT: They are back to normal :dunce::dunce::dunce:

Seems to be OK again now apart from the country flags not appearing against each entry. :)

Edit: Disregard that, it's not right at all :(

2nd Edit: Yup, all good again :)

Just wanted to thank Stotty and Doodle for recent tunes. I find them great but just can't seem to break my time. Having lots of fun though.

Currently running 12th on Tokyo... maybe top ten tomorrow:) I've read through the thread and would like to say people calm down! Also I compete every Saturday with immortal pilot in the f10 stock league and he's an absolute gentleman one of the most respectful and considerate racers I have met so give him a break guys! good luck every one!

Finished 7th on Motegi. Thanks very much again to doodlemonoply for sharing the setup. This gave me my first TOP10 since I focus on time trials.
