TT 49: 500PP NSX @ Motegi East/ 600PP 60's RC's @ Tokyo

I hate the NSX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried the tune from Stotty but it was way too skittish for me to handle and have a set-up that gave me a 1:33.793 and is good for another half a second or more in better hands than mine. I doubt it will get you at the top of the board but it's pretty forgiving and might be worth a go;

I'm not even bothering with Motegi, since I hate the track. Just golded & moved on... (The NSX suck a bit on CS as well... 👎)

You're welcome, I hope it helps you move up the table. You're a wheel driver so you should be able to squeeze another 1.5 seconds off my time using that tune as you can be a bit more controlled with the throttle and steering than I can with the DS3.

I play both...i set a 1.33.203 wit the ds3 and yesterday I took my wheel because i wasnt happy with this time...and it took me many many laps to get a 1.33.073...it was really disappointing....first i will try your tune with the ds3....my best results in TT were with a ds3

NSX on c.softs and the 2D is doing my head in :grumpy: (3 gears-wtf?).

It's probably more to do with that track than the car. I don't know why Motegi seems to have less grip than any other track, it just feels like you're driving around on marbles but I love the NSX's and on sports tyres they are awesome.

Don't give up, when you get a decent time it's a pretty nice feeling :)

Is that all you do is beg for setups? All but maybe 2 of your 11 posts you are begging for setup help. Plenty of setups have been posted which you could try and maybe modify to your style. There is no magical end all be all setup, not even from the fastest guys. Begging is not going to get you anywhere and is probably the reason why no one has helped you directly.

I may have been a bit harsh and I appologise for that, but that seems to be all he does. Its like he's looking for that one magical tune, it just doesn't happen that way. Sure, a good tune may net you a few hundredths, but thats about it. Nothing to take you to the top of the leaderboard if you're mediocre to begin with. Again, sorry if a bit rough but just saying how I feel.

you have nothing to apologise for you're one of the most helpful guys on these forums.

The fact is that there are two tunes for the NSX in this thread one from GTP_Stotty who is way up on the leader board and one from me who is at the opposite end of the board plus there are no end of tunes available in the Tuning forums that he can use. You were not being rough.

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. I do sometimes go alittle overboard with my comments and don't mean to offend anyone, I just prefer to say whats on my mind as opposed to beating around the bush. I myself would offer a tune but I've been concentrating more on the WRS TT's as opposed to these. It really messes up my feel for a certain car when I start driving another one, if you can understand that, lol. Anyways, thanks again for the compliment and if you ever need anything, just give a shout and I'll do my best to help out. Peace.
 
I found this forum about four or five tt's ago and have been trying the various tunes posted here since, I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who share your tuning knowledge, it's made the game even more fun
 
I can't get with the NSX TYPE R '02 wth is going on with this thing? Or is it just the track? I'm sure I've used and loved other NSXs in the past, but for some reason this one is so useless, even feathering the throttle, it'll just understeer completely, then give it 3/4 acc. and it goes 'oh oversteer time?
Had no problem getting gold in the R246 trail with the XJ-13 but it's the same for me in the NSX. Try to be smooth and clean and it understeers. Go a little more aggressively and it oversteers. Going to try some of the tunes tomorrow and see how it goes.

Your post made my head hurt, lol. Please use proper grammar, pununctiation, etc as per the AUP. Also, if you bothered to read my previous posts, I clearly stated that I am not participating in this time trial therefor I have no car and no setup for this event. As I recall, there are two setups posted in this thread that you could try. If your car is spinning on every corner, maybe its your throttle control...or lack thereof. I don't know what setup you're using so I don't know how else to help you.

What does that have anything to do with typos? :odd: And besides, he does play Forza from what I've seen on some of his previous posts.

Sorry, but for me his posts are annoying...if the post doesnt concern him, why has he to comment it in a harsh way? That's my opinion....is it forbidden to ask for a tune? if someone dont want to give his tune, it's absolutely ok....
