Try to drive without one on Daytona Road Course, and tell me how the 1st corner braking is ... use a familiar car to you and super grip tire to make it easier .. or go hard with cars like Cizeta or Yellowbird using comfort tires, see how much difference when having ABS 1 compared to ABS 0.
ABS 1-10 does help tremendously to stabilize the car and easing the workload on the driver by eliminating the possibility of wheel lock up. It may not be felt much on TT, but do a race without ABS against others, it's a whole new game.
There isn't one yet ...
I used the takata dome NSX in the recent daytona road TT with no abs, yes it was hell difficult but i just set the car up for turn 1 braking. I haven't tested those cars you mentioned with and without abs 1 though, but then i have a G27 so maybe i don't see as much difference compared to if i used the ps3 controller.

Yeah there is, Ti-tech85 won the 370Z Nordschleife TT with all aids off including ABS.
Racing cars are much easier to control without ABS than stock road cars (especially the Yellowbird).

if one can win GT Academy without using ABS or any other aids ever, now that's another matter - he/she would be a real champ IMO, this is getting off topic, I'd better stop here

Well he was the fastest in all the GT Academy TT's so far, and as far as I know the first to win a TT without ABS. I think it's impossible to set the fastest GTA lap without ABS, as the differences between the top guys are so small. Just look at the GTA Motegi TT, the top 200 were covered in 0.5 seconds. Also, you can't adjust brake bias at GTA TT's, meaning you have to drive with 5-5 BB (which sucks IMO).

Never said that I could beat him. Matter of fact, I even praised him for his skill. My problem is with his elitist attitude and some of the things he says that make absolutely no sense. He calls people that use aids unskilled (not true) yet he himself uses them. (ABS 1) I agree that he is highly skilled, I just think his ego is over inflated and his attitude toward lesser skilled people or people that don't play the game like he does plain out sucks. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, but its just how I feel about the matter.

I thought the TT's were about the fastest possible lap. It doesn't matter which aids you use, if they're alowed you can use them if it makes you faster. If you don't want to use them then that's fine also, but don't complain that others use them. At least that's my personal opinion about the subject and the whole discussion is rather pointless if you ask me. Just play and have fun.

No worries man, no feelings hurt. I didnt mean to come off that way i appoligize. I just know that I always see him at the top of the TT's and cant get even close to his times. I agree with you, he shouldn't down others(and I'm not saying he has, cuz I havent seen it). That being said, LETS DRIVE!!!

Reset to default,Max speed(bottom)all the way to the left and then adjust gears and then final ratio.
Edit-mines only making 427bhp?Should I change the slippery stuff?

I think what you'll see is that there are game drivers and game drivers with a definite potential for real life racing. I just watched one of the highlighted drivers on youtube, you'll know who I mean in a moment, and there is no way that this particular driver could ever win in real life. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I try to drive ON the track, not on the grass and not on pit lane to make a corner. If you tried that in real life, you'd be DQ'd or penalized. There are ways to beat TTs and there are ways to win real races. The guys who get to drive in real life as a jump from GT5 don't trick the game, they stay on the track and win. In the video, I was astonished at how bad the driver was which proves you can cheat the game but not fool anyone. Well, he can't fool me, that's for sure. Check out the video for the guy who won the 'ring Lambo seasonal in under 7 minutes. That video is superb, even though he did go off the track once. He's a much better driver, in my opinion, than the one I just saw.
