TT 49: 500PP NSX @ Motegi East/ 600PP 60's RC's @ Tokyo

Hi, Immortal, why don't you give the NSX TT a go ? You could get into P1 and break a new record, just an idea :)

Guess I finally have a reason to buy a NSX. I really wish that they would allow people to use SRF for the TT's, but make those times not eligible for the leader boards.

Great lap 👍
I like that in the video the language is set to dutch. :)

I liked the music.

Smokey cornering left me like....whaaaa?

62 views is not gonna get you sponsorship.

I wish you the best in your endeavours and hope you make it.

I actually see a connection between the two and believe to a degree they are comparable. Fast car with great tyres, slow car with poor tyres. Anyway, for me it's the slower ones, with or without good tyres.

had an hour on the nsx one this mornin and got within a tenth, its not a track i know too well but am getting there...traction turned on 7,no abs ....6 speed gbox and sport susp, shud crack it next time using ghost car to help...using 02 type r.

Very good lap for a GT5 TT, but for real life... I don't know... A lot of runs off the track, traction problems as well... Electronically in the game, with no tire degradation or fuel consumption, few controls on the steering wheel and 3 pedals, is relatively easy comparing with a F1 car.... If u only think about the start sequence, an F1 car is unbelievably more complicated than anything in GT5... For F1 u need an F1 licence before the money... Regular racing in GP2 and good results in Formula Renault or GP3, as well as podiums in GP2. Can u get close to that level? I'm asking only because on the video u are asking for help to get sponsors... Hmmmm... Put yourself in their shoes... Will u invest millions to help a driver like u are? Don't get me wrong... Very, very good skill in the game, but GT5 is light years away from any real racing competition. In that regard, I admit that through this game u can improve racing lines, learn few tracks, learn how to respect other drivers on the "black stuff" (Mark Webber's words), or get the ideea of simple settings for a car... If u are going to have the chance to spend time close to a F1 garage, watching the engineers and the mechanics, u will see that the game is nowhere close to what they are doing... U probably have seen Sebastian Vettel promoting GT5, and playing the game occasionally, but for him, GT5 is like riding a bike in the park guys...
Anyway... If u want to get far, u know u need to keep your head down, work, work and respect all the other players... Ultimately is a matter of character too... How many GranTurismo TT's Lewis Hamilton won until he got hired by McLaren? Or Nico Rosberg by Williams.... Or Nico Hulkenberg by Williams and Jaime Alguersuari by Toro Rosso...
In the game u can push as much as possible with no immediate harsh consequences, but if one do in real life with a car, what u are doing in this TT with that Audi, will destroy it's downforce, tires, gearbox and engine, so mechanically will be a huge disaster... If u are watching F1 on the regular basis u know sometimes the teams ask the drivers to slow down, manage the tires, control the fuel consumption... put the engine in different modes in order to win AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE.... Give u Lewis's example in Korea, when he kept pushing for points with a suspension failure, that changed all the car balance and ruined his tires a lot faster.... So, probably u already know, racing is a lot more complex thing in real life... And for GT5, is all for fun, to enjoy.
Sorry for the long post, and I wish u luck, cause I understand u already doing some karting...

Funny u like romanian music too... The last song on your video mate:)

I wouldn't say anything is easy from going from driving a car in a video game to driving much more complicated cars in the real world. Just because you may be good in a video game doesn't mean you'll have immediate success in the real world. There is a big difference there as stated by the above poster. Sure it helps, but it does not guarrantee anything. I'm sure if you ask any of those Academy winners that went on to real world racing if it was easy, they would say no.

The topic of this thread is different and I don't want to insist in a different direction, but the best example is Lucas Ordonez, the first winner of GT Academy, who sold his PS3 months ago, in a auction on ebay.com... He did not need GT5 the moment he got in the real racing world... Does somebody wonder why?

Lets face it, push too hard in 'your' GT5 car and you can have a life threatening crash, but hey, your car doesn't even get a dent and you just start again, after hopefully learning something about the car, the track, or your driving style.
Now in real life racing, aha, that's a totally different kettle of fish. Firstly it's 'your' life on the line, and secondly it's your employers car.
50 potentially deadly crashes in GT5 are lap destroying annoyances, little else.
However.......one or two in real life....different story altogether.
One can learn good driving technique here, but it is no comparison to being behind the wheel of a real car, perhaps even your own, where flesh and blood can meet jagged metal, intense fire etc etc.
Totally different mindset.

I know this all m8.
Iam kart driver and know how to drive fast in real life.
Iam in karting very fast.
But you must pay also in karting for Rotax Max senior 70000Euro for a season to drive with the best engines and best mechanics and every month an new chassi.
I know the best Formula Renault Team Kauffman racing.
He know me i can drive there he say you drive in the front.
But i must pay 300000 Euro for a season.
I know to get a sponsor is almost not possible.
I try to make big buisness i would pay all that i have for it all.
But i must get the money 300000 Euro is not low money for me.
After Renault 2,0 you drive Formula Renault 3,5 then you must pay 850000Euro for a season without sponsor.
I know the most dads laugh about the money.
But its difficult to get.

bravo moudame :)

Tokyo is stressing me out. I can't go a single lap without hitting a stupid wall and I get mad at myself for hitting it every time. I think I need a break :guilty:

Maybe  The thing is that I have nothing else to do, apart from school and my real life karting.

For me IMMORTALPILOT is like the champion of no driving aids. I'm glad he does what he does and i'm sure if PD make it so you can't drive over the edge of the track he would easily adapt.
