What is this "real life" you talking about? Lol
The difference between a Moby and a Peacock:

In order for me to even remotely keep up to the back of the pack typically requires me to practice a couple nights and watch a couple you tube track guides. I don't have the skill in my back pocket most of you do ‘out of the gate’, just to show up 30mins before the scheduled event.... So for me, at my skill level, one night of racing = a total of 2, maybe 3 nights. If i don't do that, i run laps by myself half a lap back.....which for an enduro is a long boring race....not complaining (believe it or not) i enjoy running laps and researching vids etc, improving race-craft, doing a livery for the race and the smack talk on a thread - but is takes time, and thats where ‘real’ life is currently coming into play.

Edit - but then who knows - i love this combo and hate to miss it - if i find myself bored tonight i may make an appearance just to run the laps.

@BPeacock2727, you're not the only one. I too practice for these races only to run half a lap back. However, so far there has usually been someone else that either got some damage, took a creative pit strategy, or got distracted by the chili peppers on my bumper to hang back and keep me company :).

I have noticed some improvement already though. Before joining this season I couldn't drive GR3's without TCS, and I hadn't driven without cones, and I had spent almost no time in the Huracan Gr 3, 86 Gr 4, M3 Gr3, and GTR Gr4 cars. So it's great to gain experience in all those areas.

See you tonight guys. And sorry @GTP_Guido, I've got another Dortmund livery for tonight :

I have been "practicing" since I was 6 when I got my first racing game on Nintendo.

My only skill is that I have been playing all sorts of racing games on several different systems including home pc's since that age. So it's just that I have more time vested in my muscle memory...that likes to fool everybody to thinking it is skill.

I was just messing with you anyway. Real life stuff is why there is a 2 week break between last season and this upcoming gt3 season. Lol

I know mob. I wasnt sure if you ‘fast guys’ realized what (some) of the rest of us have to do to try to keep competitive. We’ll see how sore my arm is after my (1st) covid shot tonight and you never know - i may show up. :D
