TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

1:26.421 is my best so far. And I have a new race idea for the Enduro Series. Because of what happened the last time I tried to suggest a idea here (I still remember, and I'm still a little PO'ed about it), I'll message the main guys about it, and will not share it here.

Better not steal my fiat idea!

My best lap 127.239, but mostly mid to high 128's :)

There is a lot of time to be lost in the first two corners... They are just hard to consistently get right.

Speaking of which, what is the rule for corners 1 and 2 since, you know, we can cut them without getting a penalty...........

Just wondering. :sly:

Ya i have to say the first to and the S bend of the last to corners offer no penalty at all.

Anyhow the best i can muster up is 1:26.372 and yes that is with out cutting the corners. though i am more able at reproducing 1:28s much more. lining up the first three set of corners, and the u turn with the little trek up the hill is the hardest place to gain time. Alot of time can be gain though in the set of turns after the tunnel

I am pretty surprised at how much you can push this thing before losing it.

Also for suggesting ideas how about nascars over at the oval style suzuka course. Watched the full race on you tube today and it looked pretty fun back in the 90s

Are you using a wheel or ds3?

I'd assume your using a button box or 2nd controller to change the BB on the fly like that.

I use a DFGT and do change brake balance a few times a race, but not seemingly as much as you do.

I generally raise it 1/2 ticks as tire wear gets bad.

I am using the G27 and have mapped my menu buttons to the ones on the wheel. In 3 button presses I have a different setting. Playing games like F12012 have helped in my multi-tasking skills.

Hmmmm, would you be willing to share this tip?

I am guessing that you are using pedals.

BTW where in WI are you located? I am in Waterford.

Yes I have a G27 and have mapped out my menu buttons to the 4 red buttons on the shifter. I usually ran my brake biasing around the middle (5/5; 4/6; 6/4). I'm now starting at 0/0 and adjusting up from there. I currently reside in Pewaukee and haven't been to Waterford for a few years.

Since before the update where you could re-map g27 buttons, I double sided taped an old non dual shock controller to my g27 steering wheel center. I have 16+ buttons now! Fits well and you can do anything easily on the fly!

I saw it on here a while ago! Great tip!

With the DGFT you dont have to do that, you just push the center of the red button and it brings up the menu, then you just choose the function you want to change. It works really well for changing on the fly.

That is the only thing that I miss about my old DFGT. I just need to get used to changing the settings on the fly. Right now I need to wait for a long straight.

PSN ID: CasaMofo - Orange Car w/ White Wheels - Car #33. Thanks for the invite. Probably won't be there this weekend for the race, but may join in for practice to get a feel from you guys. Looking forward to next week and beyond! Division 3 Please. Not ready to run with the big guys yet...

Ok, we have you signed up for Division 3. We have the FLEX Racing Series practice on Tuesday nights (tonight) at 8pm Eastern in Turtle Town and the Enduro Racing Series practice on Wednesday nights at 8pm Eastern in Turtle Town as well. Welcome to the Enduro Racing Series!

Welcome to the Turtle Racing League CasoMofo.
Hope to see you for Wednesday practice.
Looking forward to racing with you.👍

Couple things.

1.
I use the buttons on my DFGT for the RA menu, but find sometimes you have to wait for a straight to change it up. I have ideas of buidling a button box that will have a few macro buttons mainly for brake balance (one button +1 front brake, one button -1 front brake....etc)

2.
Chance I won't make it this weekend. Wife wants to go on a road trip on sunday and now she has the idea to drive up Saturday night. :/ Probably won't know for sure until Friday.

3.
ON fumanchu's internet problems. He's most likely going experience some sort of lag anyway being in Hawaii. They have full internet access there, but a limited number of "Pipes" that lead to the mainland. Here in the continental us, when we go to GTplanet.net, there can be a hundred ways those packets are exchanged between us and them. Due to the various routes that can be done. It's the most effiecient/quickest way to get data from point A to point B. In fumanchu environment all data packets from Hawaii have to through a limited number of underwater pipes. Granted I'm sure there a lot, but not nearly as much as we would have on the mainland. So he would have to first go down a clogged pipe (in laymans terms) to get to the US mainland, then his routes to get data open up.

4.

Got a set of G25 pedals on the way. Just gotta do the adapter to hook them up to my DFGT. Woot!

Congrats on the pedals Infinital. Also, clogged pipe 👍

Casa, on your GT5 home page click on the community tab. Scroll down and click on Turtle Town, then click on the coffee cup. Join Lounge from there.

Could I suggest using the proto one week than using the final on the same track but reversed?

I like the way you think. It will be a FLEX race though. We can take it to Nurburgring in the after race races on Friday or Saturday though. :)

Rally with rear wheel drive cars?

No, not that either. I'm sorry, but I'm not sharing my idea. I told MBOBB my idea, and I'll explore it further, but it's not going to be here for a while. MBOBB, can I ask you not to share it right now, please and thanks. I may as well be selfish for not telling you guys and/or girls, but I'm still a little peeved from the response some of you gave when I tried a few months ago. So yeah, think what you will, but that's my reason.
