TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

Sorry I didn't make it. Was so aggravated over that ordeal that I just went to bed. Good news is, my uncle called me up last night and said he knows a 70 year old man that has a 99 wrangler for sale. Went and looked at it this morning before work and its your typical vehicle owned by a 70 year old man. Excellent shape and 110,000 miles. Even has a winch on the front. He wanted 4500 but I could only get him down to 4000. My uncle said he would give me 300 for the winch, so I go get my new to me, black on black, 99 wrangler Friday when I get off work! It just has a leak on the power steering. The guy said he didn't know if it is the hose or the pump. Not a deal breaker, I can replace the hose or the pump when I take my blown up car to the crush yard.

Hope to race with y'all soon!!

Save your car seat for the rig you'll be building.....some day

Glad things worked out for you in the end. Hopefully the Wrangler will give you many years of stress-free driving 👍

What rig?

Thanks. Yea my wife said that probably happened for a reason. This jeep isn't a rebuilt and is 4 years newer and the interior is in better shape.

Good luck to you Wins. I bought an 04 Jeep Liberty Columbia new in December of 03 and as of this weekend I hit 100,000 miles. Had to replace a water pump once, but no other problems. I have driven up and down the east coast carrying hundreds of pounds of guitar/bass gear and she has never let me down. Welcome to the jeep family!!

Side note: Any race ideas for this week? I was thinking the Isuzu 4200s concept on special stage route 5... Lets hear some thoughts/requests!!

Nismo super legguna 380RS at twin ring motegi road course! 👍

what's it PP? we should try to stick with our usual tire regulations shouldn't we?

Tire restriction: Based on Dealership PP
Below 300pp ---- Comfort Mediums
300pp to 349pp - Comfort Softs
350pp to 399pp - Sports Hards
400pp to 449pp - Sports Mediums
450pp to 499pp - Sports Softs
500pp to 549pp - Racing Hards
550pp to 599pp - Racing Mediums
600pp & above. - Racing Softs

Personally, i don't care. Particularly since these aren't 'official' Turtle events anyway.

Sounds like you guys are trying to create a drift race though :-)

Just ribbin you some mic. I couldn't resist. That would be a wild ride for sure.

Didn't we just run that car on something ...

I'm in the mood to run something we would never think to run, hence why the random 4200s, lol. I'm also thinking Pug 908's... I'm just saying, lol.

SKATEBOARD MUTANT NINJA TURTLE!

Thanks. Yea my wife said that probably happened for a reason.

Your wife's not the only one who said that. Glad your lucks turning around. 👍 Make sure you use a fitted wrench on those hi pressure break lines or you'll round the heads off. EDIT np Wins, now I understand why you only seemed to be looking at Jeeps you already got 3 mechanics for her LOL

Thanks for the heads up. My father in law, brother in law and best friends dad all have jeep wranglers. All 3 of them combined could probably tear down a jeep and rebuild it blind folded. That's what they live for

Any ideas on a car and track for practice tonight?

The only real requests we've got have been from myself and Phisher. I like both, but was thinking about maybe just doing some shuffle racing myself tonight. I could setup a public room if that sounds interesting ...

I thought Phisher wanted to run the Super lugerro or whatever its called, but do whatever you want.

The options so far were the Nismo Super Legguna at Twin Ring Motegi or the Isuzu 4200s concept at SSR 5. I'm up for whatever, it just seems like there is a lack of interest from the group.

I see that, which isnt so good. With the lack of interest lately, shuffle racing wouldn't be bad at all. Or we can have the 1 of the 2 for the racing. Whatever is fine for me 👍

I would come practice with you guys but I will bow out of races because of my lag issues. It would just cause frustration for everyone.
And I agree with you scarecrow it seems everyone has took the month off. Seems like there's only been about a half dozen of us even posted anything in the last few weeks.
I guess the guys are just in a holding pattern. I don't know.

I've been busy trying to find a vehicle and working my ass off. Not much free time :P I did buy me a jeep today so this weekend will be filled with top less mud action!! Yeehaw!!!

I really don't know enough about the game and its cars/tracks to make any good suggestions. I had only rented the game a little over a month ago and got hooked right away. About a week after that I went looking on the forums for some race pals to help sharpen my learning curve (which you have greatly, thanks) and saw Psycho's invite. Took me 2 weeks to get to TURTLE_Town nuff said. On the real I know GT5 is aging and now most of our members may be doing other things waiting for GT6 release and I hope we can all keep it together till it does Or at least until I finish this damnable game. LOL @ Wins "filled with top less mud action!! Yeehaw!!!" Im down for some shuffle racing. --note to self: find out what shuffle racing is ;) EDIT Sounds like fun, thanks Wins. If I don't see the post send me an in game message cos I'll prolly be on messing with them seasonals.

Shuffle racing is where you set the pp limit and the game selects a random car close to that pp limit for you then you race it. When I do online public lobbies I always do shuffle races. It's quite entertaining unless you get a 4 geared car on Le Mans....

Glad it finally worked out for ya Wins. A big weight off your shoulders.
And don't forget the first NASCAR truck race on dirt is on speed ch. It starts at 9:30. It gonna be a good one.
