TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

Turtle Racing
martin_ky, mb1425, Afrodeezy7, and xbinkus can you choose your prize, either the 1966 or 1967 Birthday Ticket. Thanks and congratulations!

1967 would be awesome, thank you!! đź‘Ť :)

It was a tie. If there were a tie breaker it would probably be the fastest lap because qualifying times aren't documented or listed in any results and qualifying positions are too inconsistent to be used reliably. So, if the fastest lap time was used, mb1425 would have been 1st (1:29.444) and Afrodeezy7 would have been 2nd (1:29.569). But, then I would have only been sending out 1 prize for Division 2 instead of 2. :)

Ahh okay I see! Well I suppose that worked in my favor! :sly:

Exactly! :D

I think I may have mentioned this, but I won't be able to race next weekend, but I hope to still join you guys for at least one of the practices.

Unfortunately, neither will I as My flight home lands right when the race starts :grumpy:

Oh man, that just blows! I guess there is only one thing to do, I'll just have to have enough fun for all three of us!

Please do! It sucks to miss out on all of the fun racing :grumpy:

Got the 20mil credit Ford Mark IV from my '67 ticket, but not after I sent the ticket to my second account (after doing the USB trick of course ;) ) and also got the 20mil Ferrari Race Car, completing my 20mil historic car set! Thanks for the ticket :)

Also, since I can't fix my broken $200 headset, I went out and bought a cheap-ish mic ($30) so I can finally be a part of the conversation, and my fingers won't fall off from typing so much with my controller :) (before anyone asks, I race with a wheel, the DS3 is just used for typing because it's faster for me)

Well despite being 2 laps down from the big boys, I had a good time and look forward to next week. Hopefully I will improve some by then. I've only had the game for about two weeks and just got my wheel in on Thursday. Also, I should have a working mic by next week.

PS. I'll take a 1967 ticket, and thanks!

This league has helped me improve my skills a heck of alot faster than simply playing random people online. It is usually fairly dirty racing online.

The gift that keeps on giving! :sly:

Great I'll get the 1967 Birthday Ticket sent to you shortly. Be sure to let us know what you get with it. We are glad you enjoyed the races. Be sure to join our practices on Wednesday and Friday.

Looks like everyone had fun and turned great lap times! I'll be home for the next race but I'm upset I missed this one! Excellent results tho guys! I have a feeling I would have struggled here.. Close finishes always rock!

Make sure you clear your cache for less connect problems!

If it makes you feel any better, it wasn't the same without you. :sly:

Thanks, I got the ticket and opened a Ford Mark IV Race Car '67.:)

Hopefully I'll have time to make at least one of the practices this week.

Man I loved the car and track combination. The most fun I've ever had. I'll take the 1967 ticket, and thanks for great racing

Ahh I'm so bummed out I'm gonna miss the race on Eiger! I'm an animal on that track, brings me back to my GT5 Prologue days.

Also, since I hate/suck badly at NASCAR, I'm not so sure I can handle a 200 lap race in one. I may have to sit that one out :(

One last thing: any chance of adding a race at the end of the season with the Ferrari Formula 1 Cars? (maybe another special race like the Historic Car Race) I could see that being quite fun & exciting, especially maintaining clean racing and the golden rule of Motorsport at such high speeds (I may be a bit biased because I'm a huge F1 fan/follower, but hey, it's worth a shot!) I understand the cars are super expensive and all, but I have a level 24 ticket I can dupe as many times as needed so everyone can have a F1 car :) đź‘Ť

I definitely like F1 and will race it pretty much anywhere anytime. I just got done doing an F1 series about a month and a half ago. They do seem to attract less interest and have smaller turnouts though. And most can only take small amounts without breaks(20 min. races). Shorter races will help keep everyone sharper, and give their wheels time too cool off. The final race of that series was 50 laps at Cote, and after about lap 35 most were just wanting it to end.

The trick with Nascar is to make sure all aids are off. Including ABS. And a cooler full of ice and.......:sly: sitting next to your rig.

I recently did 70 laps at Cote for a league (just like real life) and boy was that tiring, but rewarding :)

We are discussing a F1 race currently so stay tuned. Details to come soon.

Cool, that's awesome! When it comes down to picking a track, you should make sure it's a track real F1 cars drive on, because these cars don't work so well on certain tracks, especially some of the originals. If you aren't sure which tracks are actually on the Formula 1 calendar, shoot me a message and I can give you a list.

That is awesome! Many consider it to be the most beautiful and best sounding car in the game. Congratulations! đź‘Ť

Also, the most expensive! Definitely a great car, I drove mine yesterday before leaving for the airport, and I fell in love. I've yet to drive the Ferrari 330 P4 though, how is that?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that sound is unquestionable. It is also a beauty though.
I prefer the Ford over the Ferrari, but not by much. It seems a but more stable in the corners to me. Either car is great, personnal tastes.
