Wow guys im doing some laps on spa now..... tires are going to be a big concern! I killed a set in under 3 laps. Very easy on some corners to get sideways and spin those puppies.

Yea I'm going to have to watch my tires closely otherwise it will be alot of spinouts.

we did a quick practice after saturday's race and we were all over the place LOL
after we got used to the track/car combo, we settled down and actually got some clean laps in though.
i too got 3 laps out of my tires and i felt proud to make them last that long HAHA!

I managed a 2:15 something. It would have been 2:14, but the last chicane I broke late and I had to take the turn really slowly, and not at an optimal line.

I think I'll be going for fast lap times this race. With those softs, they seem to wear down pretty much however conservative you are. I can probably do 5 lap stints no problem, and still get pretty fast times.

I think there will be some fast laps this race. And 5 laps is what I'm looking at as well. We did a 10 lap race this past weekend after the Cape Ring race in which I ran two 5 lap stints. Tire wear wasn't an issue for me(but I didn't spin). On the second stint I got a 2:10.9XX fast lap and ended it on a 2:14.XXX. Just watch out for that penalty at Eau Rouge and Blanchimont.

I was getting 5 laps with a fastest so for of a 2:15.9xx.

The shortcut penalties are going to be fun, because you barely clip the edge on eau rougue your penalized.

If you guys want to try something fun, go through the grass before the bus stop, it's a 20 second penalty.

Gotta love the penalty system.

This track I think is almost too picky on some of the shortcuts, like the line you cross to get a shortcut penalty needs to be adjust a half foot out or something.

Like Fuji.

I see more of a chance for problems at Eau Rougue, for punting into the penalty.

But hopefully it will be a nice clean race.
