TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

That's generally why I don't race on the 'Ring in public lobbies. Everyone tries to get by you in the first sector. Especially on that small downhill straight, 'Quiddelbacher Hohe', in the first section.

At least there probably won't be much lapped traffic. :)

starting at the back wont be a bad thing for this race though IMO. 10 laps around the ring in these cars will test ones endurance, patience and focus as much if not moreso than your hot lap times.
And there are only a couple GOOD places to pass on the track as well, so be patient. plenty of time over the hour and a half of race.

It's 12 laps now. 👍

Just cracked open a faster lap time, I kept it consistent (8:20s to 8:14s) for 4 laps since my racing mediums only last that long.

My new fastest lap is a 8:14.088

Now that the race is 12 laps you can do 4x3. I was running RS last night in practice so I'll have to figure out my tire wear tonight.

I'm hoping to get an 8:00 minute lap. it seems possible to me as i haven't come close to having a clean lap yet and there is so much time to gain everywhere.

that's my goal in tonight practice; we'll see how realistic that is:dopey:

8:03, you wuz close! 👍

That is an amazing time. What vehicle did you use for that? And did you shred your tires in the process :P

Psycho was on his Fat Ford (:P) I was chasing him down in my super slick sliver chrome xj * runs aways*

p.s : Psycho was over 20 seconds faster than me

8:03 is awesome Micantony.

I was thrilled to stay on course in the first race. Hadn't put 2 clean laps together before. 4th lap I had a couple bad moments but was able to keep the car pointed forward. Ran BB of 7/4 on RM's. Don't think I'd ever won a race before at the Ring that didn't involve the AI!

Going out of town this weekend. Good luck to all racers.

yeah, that first lap or two of that race was brutal for me jumping in cold without any warmup. I was 1:30+ behind you at one point

i think i gained a minute on you in the last two laps since i had pitted. I almost beat the :30 timer to finish that race :dopey:

You guys were all trying to go 4 laps on medium's...with my fresh soft's i flew by Mbobb and Psycho on that last lap like they were in Escort's :mischievous:

Remember that if you qualify on Race Softs, you will start the race on them. You'd have to go out of the race to lobby to change tires. Then you'd lose your qualifying spot. I think if you even went to pit row during qualifying and changed back to Race Medium/Hards then the race started, it was still default you back to Race Softs. Kinda like if you change Brake Balance in game, it still defaults back to the settings you had when you first joined in.

I liked the Mediums. Plenty of grip. Wasn't trying to go all out on them-just keep a steady pace. Drop off started about a minute into lap 4. Had to be on my toes for sure after that-lost traction several times accelerating.

I tried running a mixed set of RS front/RM rear. Not good for me. Screwed up the nice balance the Jag has.

The Ford Mark IV is pretty good with RSs. But, just going to RMs made it pretty dicey. I looks like I'll be using RS's and pitting every 3 laps.

Did the enduro at Grand Valley in 1hr10mins with the Red Bull X2011... only got 300,000 credits gahhh

I the Ferrari and Jag in my other game. One I think has some mods but eould I be able to use that game to race? Gitta practice for it. Only have 14million credits

If you have 200% on cash bonus. Do A-spec Expert race series 4 and do Nurburgring 650pp race. An easy 1mil awaits you at the finish.

I found Ford better handling of the 3 with jag in the middle and Ferrari was bit more difficult. Extra torque of Ford is very handy around the ring.

Now if only i can get it painted in sliver chrome :sly:

Posts like this make me wish that GT Planet had a "like" button. 👍

Can the September 29, 2012 Suzuka Circit Division Winners zxxCOUNT210xxz and Ntc3nut please choose your prize. Either the 1966 Birthday Ticket or 1967 Birthday Ticket. Thanks, and Congratulations!

I enjoy watching videos of your races, Sadly, I will not be able to join. I run off a wireless cell internet (verizon) and I fear that I would lag or dc enough to be a real pain in the neck on the track. Its going to be like this for the foreseable future:banghead:

Have you been having lag/DC problems?
