TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - ENDURO Racing Series - PRACTICE TONIGHT!

I had a dream about the green hell and my ferrari last night:scared:

Yep, had a similar experience last night. Hell track is what it is for me with these old timers. Tried all 3 myself last night with much cursing and fuming. Only clean lap was a low 8:23 driving like there's an egg under my right foot. RS's on the Jag.

Really looking forward to the GT500's now! Thanks Martin.

👍 Looking forward to racingwith you.

I managed a 8:24, but that was with a few minor mistakes. I'm sure with more practice and a fully broken in car I can get slice of a 3-4 seconds of that.

Didn't get much in the way of action shots, will try better next time. Hopefully they are satisfactory, but not as good as Pyscho's.

I'm hoping to get an 8:00 minute lap. it seems possible to me as i haven't come close to having a clean lap yet and there is so much time to gain everywhere.

that's my goal in tonight practice; we'll see how realistic that is:dopey:

Everyone remember that for Saturday you may only get a chance at one hot lap before qualifying is over.

For my room (if we stay current with Division 1/3 with me) I'm going to try and have the room reset and ready to go at 9:50. I would try to at least be on time Saturday so you are not starting at the back of the grid. Qualifying never starts on time anyway, but we want to be as close as possible.

If I do get the room ready at 9:50, and estimate a starting race time of 10:20 (should be 10:15) that gives you 30 minutes, or at least one in lap and two qualifying laps.

And remember it is only one race on Saturday.

starting at the back wont be a bad thing for this race though IMO. 10 laps around the ring in these cars will test ones endurance, patience and focus as much if not moreso than your hot lap times.
And there are only a couple GOOD places to pass on the track as well, so be patient. plenty of time over the hour and a half of race.

Yeah it is a longer race, but at least want to give everyone the chance to put in a good time.

Lots of times spec racing comes down to qualifying position. Since there aren't a lot of places to pass and depending on pit strategy some people might not see much movement up/down the position grid. Just in general theory. More than likely people will see the grass/dirt/wall at some point.

👍:banghead:🤬

particularly on the first lap from my experience as you get so jacked up trying to get by people as fast as you can. it doesnt take much to go off around here. can't wait!:dopey:

How many laps for practice races tonight?

Gave it another go at lunch. First lap 8:24 from a standing start on RM's going easy and smooth. 2nd lap went off early pushing too hard and quit. I'd like to get more proficient on this track...practice, practice and then more practice.
