TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX Racing Series - ACCEPTING MEMBERS!

It was a difficult race for myself. I wasn't able to figure the car out until around lap 30, but still enjoyable.

The R10 was a difficult car to manage... it is really unpredictable. Good race everyone!

I pitted at least about 6 times because my rear tires wore out a lot faster than the fronts. I also changed to mediums and the drive became worse. I almost ran out of gas before the time ran out. I am glad that I survived!

I changed to hards on my second pit stop. BIG mistake

I tried hards in practice and the car was basically un-driveable. It was a very challenging race. I didn't get comfortable in the car until about 2/3 of the way through the race. That's when it really got fun. Great race TX!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I would like to donate my lvl 23 ticket to the first participant of that race that posts. Spending so much time in a car that has such a small margin for error and sticking it out deserves a reward!

I especially like this pic. Everyone has a nice launch and I'm at the back destroying my tires.:dunce:

Thanks shredTec, I'll be there! 👍

This week is another good combo. I know some folks hate the Nascar race cars, but for some reason I love driving them. Should be on by 9:30 or so. I'm having some issues with my new headset so I'm not being anti social. Plus I've got the texting skills of a drunken caveman.

Yes, the car seems to love this track. Well, at least for a few laps until the tires wear out. :D

I will be there after missing the last 2 races, I'm ready for some Nascar on a road course.👍

On my way to Turtle Town...boogity.

Edit: Still here, just driving around and around.

Tonight in FLEX we will be using a rolling start. These cars have allot of power and starting from a standstill on the banking is extremely challenging. In an attempt to make the start as clean as possible we will:

1- Qualify
2- At the start of the race everyone will hold their position. No one moves.
3- I(martin_ky) will drive to the front and then lead the racers for 1 pace lap. There will be NO PASSING or RECKLESS DRIVING DURING THIS LAP.
4- After exiting the bus stop I will accelerate to 100mph in the final corner and hold this until the start/finish line.
5- I will then pull to the far right of the track before passing the starting line. As you pass the starting line you may then accelerate.
6- Usual rules still apply for turn 1, hold your position and no passing attempts until after turn 1.

One thing I forgot to mention. If I happen to qualify on pole I won't be pulling over at the start. I'll only pull to the side if I qualify in some other position.
