TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX Racing Series - ACCEPTING MEMBERS!

Can't make it till next Friday but sounds like fun, I'd like to give it a shot!

dc92974 / Orange Car with Chrome wheels / Car #36

So when I purchase a car for the race I just need to get it with "my" color/wheels? What if the color isn't available?

Thank you for joining the FLEX Racing Series. The color combination and car number you have chosen are both available. Just accept the PSN Turtle FRs we send you and you should be good to go. We have several dupers, so if you need a certain color chip let us know and we should be able to help you out with it. Welcome to the Turtle Racing League!

Well, I am sure everyone was glad I showed up for the 2nd race. Otherwise, one of them would have been last instead of me. :D

Sorry I didn't make it last night.Had a long day at work and then after dinner and some yard work I just feel asleep alittle after 9. Hope you had a good turn out. Congrats to the winners.

Thanks Psycho. I owe you one. Great racing last night, I had a great time trying to keep up to the leaders. I seemed to have the speed but my consistency was off with ABS at 0. Epic finish in race 1 between Dolph and hj. Nice win also TX. I noticed an improvement over the coarse of the night and am looking forward to more racing without it. I would encourage anyone with a G27 or any wheel with decent pedals to give it a shot. We will see how I do in the TVR tonight in the Enduro Series.

The first turn with abs 0 on Suzuka is brutal.

Hey Turtles,
SNAIL does not have any Friday events going on and I need to fill my GT5 needs on Friday nights.

What do I need to do to participate on your league on Fridays? I see that you have some ex-snails on your drivers list so I think your league promotes clean racing.

What are you racing on Friday?

Welcome Wolfsatz. We will need you to pick an unused car/wheel color combination as well as an unused number. Please refer to the drivers list on page 1 of the thread. The race schedule is also there as well. Look forward to seeing you on track.

Turtle Racing League - Simply The Best!

Awesome racing last night! My strategy paid off in the end and got me the win! Very close intense racing towards the end! Also lots of fun! Thanks guys!

Had fun last night, congrats Ph1sher!

Etiquette question? Most of the time touching/bumping is pretty much bad. Last night trying to figure out NASCAR I was experimenting with coming up behind a car and giving them a little bump to speed them up and then draft along with them. I got bumped from behind, probably because I was slow :-(, and was amazed how much it speeded me up. Not sure how well it worked but is that an "OK" thing to do in NASCAR for the next time? I think TX_Executioner was who I was bumping so "hopefully" it was helping not driving him nuts.

Hey dc92974, bump drafting is normal in a NASCAR Race because it is mutually beneficial. Just make sure you back off before the corners in time for the lead driver to make it around, especially at Indy.

Bump drafting in NASCAR races is allowed and good fun especially on Daytona oval. Wouldn't suggest it for road races though.

Oh yes, maybe I should have mentioned it wouldn't be a good idea to bump draft through Eau Rouge!

Congrats on the win, Ph1sher! If only I had employed your strategy, maybe I would have had a chance. :ouch: Though until about 3/4 of the way through the race, it wasn't clear who was going to come out on top. That race was a ton of fun. Great turnout, too.

Thanks dolph! It kept going back in fourth in the top 4 of me, you, Martin, and spyagent, and I believed all you guys pitted around lap 130 and thought to myself your going to have to pit again and my last pit was on lap 140 and was good enough for the rest of the race. Lots of fun and great turnout! Thanks for the compliments again guys! All I can say is I WON THE BRICKYARD 400!! I feel like a highlander!!
