I have the g27 ansd they don't make wheels anymore, I think if I was you I would get it soon as possible before they run out, I got mine a week or 2 ago. Definaly amazing! From what I heard the the owners of gt5 said some stuff that gt6 would go on ps3 as the last gt on ps3 then gt7 on ps4, but who knows what happens I'm hoping it stays on ps3. As of rig. I built a wooden rig still use it! Very sweet but the chair I use can be uncomfortable at points, but I'm getting a evolution playseat for gt5 so its more comfortable, amazon said its estimated to get to me by Monday, which would be nice since then I can start fresh off during that week instead of like on Saturday or something like that. Just some advice if I were you. See you on the track this weekend hopefully!

I'm thinking about buying another g27 as a backup since they don't make them anymore. Also, G27 will be supported by ps4. It's not official but they already have the firmware on ps3, so it's a matter of porting it over. As for a "rig" it doesn't matter if its for Xbox, ps3, ps4. It's just a place to sit. Your wheel hardware won't change with any new system.

I think I'll go with the CNT simulator they have the deal for on here and also a g27.

Here's my rig. It's 400$ shipped but its made from steel and has a monitor mount.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I wasted to much money on this. No wonder I'm broke lol

Monitor: 219$
G27: 249$
Keyboard: 99$ (had it from my gaming pc)
Ps3 320: 229$ (refurb)
Surround sound: stole it from the living room (don't tell the wife )
Space heater: $19.99 (no vents in the basement and my little piggies get cold with only socks on in the winter)

And I still can't keep up with 90% of you. At least the chair is comfy and I can lay it flat to take a nap when the wife is mad at me

I may have just had a brilliant idea. What would you guys think about having teams? Put the new guys with experienced guys and having 2 sets of points. Individual and team standings per race. That way, even if you don't win, you may still place good in the team standings. That way, the experienced drivers could teach the new ones some tricks through the week before the race if they want to do good in the standings. Which in return, boosts the new guys confidence to want to race more and get quicker, which keeps people in the league, which means more racers, closer battles and excitement for all!!

So if you guys do the whole power limit thingy for experienced drivers, it could turn into a real heated team battle.

Which is also a good idea. The idea you brought up is pretty cool. If we were to pick teams I think psycho would put a driver with another. The only problem is if someone joins and they don't have a partner. Or what if your partner can't show up for the race. Good idea though! See you tonight probably in the flex race!

Well if the div A driver doesn't show up, then the div 1 driver can just run for the individual points. If the div 1 driver doesn't show, then we can put the div A driver with another div 1 guy. If there isn't one for him, he can just run solo. But, we could put the div A with someone who is consistent with attendance also and maybe switch teams up every week so that all the div A guys can learn different race style.

Also with the tyres, if we give the div a guys tyres that don't require pit on a full race, but we bump div 1 down and they have to pit, then it becomes real inconsistent, with tyre wear lap times and number of pits. I think... Lol it's actually a good idea, but it will take some practicing to tweak all the bugs. I'm just throwing stuff out there, I got a lot of time to think.

Yea, I might be able to do 1 flex race tonight. I don't know what my wife wants to go do yet. I hope so, it took forever to break those cars in without an endurance level b spec. I did b spec seasonal 3 on Suzuka lol later.

Yea, if I can run both races, it'll definitely be the Ferrari first so I know how hard to push the BMW. The Ferrari is definitely a handful, and there will be lots of 1st or 2nd corner spin outs. If I can run 1, it'll be with the BMW. I still need to break in the golf.

Thanks! It's great for racing. It even has accessories you can buy like a cup holder or triple monitor mounts!

And the turtle beach are great. I had a pair of them on Xbox and you can hear things clear and also stuff that you wouldn't normally hear on a tv. It's great for immersion.

What is the footprint of the Obutto? I have a very limited space (or should I say the space my wife allowed) for my gaming stuff. Do you think it's toddler friendly as well?

There's the dimensions. I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old and they never have gotten hurt on it nor damage it. It's extremely sturdy and it has multiple uses. It's worth the money IMO.
