TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - TYRO Racing Series - BEGINNERS SERIES!

The RA menu should already be set up on the DFGT. Just going to practice mode, hop out onto the track, and hit the button inside the red ring. Then scroll down using the button to the left of the red wheel. It may also be useful to go to the settings menu and reprogram your reverse and hand brake to your manual shifter. (I use paddles for shifting) I can't even tell you how nice it is to not have to hold the triangle button while turning the wheel to reverse out. This way one hand is on my shifter reversing me while the other is still under control of the wheel. My reverse is what used to shift up and my handbrake is what used to shift down. I hope this makes sense or if not at least somebody else will help it make sense to you as I'm poor at explaining things.

Awesome! my psn is 'occupysr' Division A, please.

Pink/Black #43

Hey Ills1999, thank you for joining the Turtle Racing League - TYRO Racing Series. The color combination and car number you have chosen are available. Just accept the PSN Turtle FRs we send you and you should be good to go. Welcome to the Turtle Racing League!

Thanks. I updated my post.

Also, if you have not done so, please read over the guide to good race craft, and the GTP OLR! Someone should be able to provide you a proper link if you have problems finding it. I can't do it for the mobile app.

Once again, welcome aboard and we look forward to racing with you!

I kept up for a couple of laps then stuffed up a corner. I even thought about passing you on the straight Martin, but after I messed up a couple of times, I just went into cruise mode.

You writing a race report? I always love reading them and seeing what everyone's times where.

No practicing for me I guess. Psn is doing maintenance.

You can practice offline. On your home screen, go to your garage, find the golf, press triangle, select change car then back out to the home screen again, select practice, enter these settings depending on your vehicle:
Driving Assists: Driving Line, TCS, and ABS
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Penalty: Weak
Mechanical Damage: Light
Grip Reduction: Low
Slipstream Strength: Strong
Visible Damage: Off
Boost: Off

Division 1 (experienced)
Driving Assists: ABS only
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Penalty: Weak
Mechanical Damage: Light
Grip Reduction: Real
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Visible Damage: Off
Boost: Off

Then make sure you're on deep forest, and away you go. You can also do one make races too, that will help you with passing and being in crowded turns.

Spring soccer season has started and I've gotten busy coaching my daughters team so no race report from me, but here is a photo of the fastest lap/gap times.

Wow, 3rd-5th place looks like fun!

Hmm, I may be able to join. I've been looking for a beginner series, I REALLY wanna improve my driving skills.

You've come to the right place friend! We have drivers of varying skill level and with the type of cars we run, you will most likely always be within a comfortable range of someone. Pick an unused color combo for your car and wheels, as well as unused number, and give it a try. Worst that could happen is, you find out its not for you. Best thing could happen, you join and have a blast.

Hey BooyakaDragon, thank you for joining the Turtle Racing League - TYRO Racing Series. The car number you have chosen is available. However, the color combination you have chosen is already in use. Please refer to the Drivers List and choose an unused color combination. Thanks, and welcome to the Turtle Racing League!

I have to admit, that is pretty good stuff!

:) well the more people that show up, the more fun we have and bigger lobbies. Plus I know not everyone is around as much as me. I am constantly on the forums to keep from going bored while I'm at my stops in my semi truck.

Edit: phisher, here's the laps right after you left. I'll upload a replay soon so people can see the lines and braking points.

Btw, phish said his car had 173 hp, mines only showing 171 with 240 miles. That's why I couldn't keep up with Martin if I'm running 2 hp less ( or at least the story I'm sticking to)

Jeepers creepers Hahah wow fast! I can only get up to 1.25.4 but it seems to always be around there. Thanks again wins!

I'm kind of baffled why my car is only 171 hp. Is everyone else's 173? If so, what's your mileage? I may purchase another and try breaking it in again.
Also, in regards to the replay. I don't have a capture card, so to view the replay you'll need a USB memory stick to view it. I'm not sure when I'll upload it, my wife was on the pc doing her college work and I'm headed to work now. I'm not sure when I'll be home again before Saturday morning.
If there is a lot of interest for replays racing lines with the car/track Combo, I may post a weekly guide for everyone (with consent) it'll give me something to do on the weeks I can't race.
