Was I the only one who noticed that it was a 1 star room? I hope that was a mistake. I was going to comment that it wasn't going to end well but I resisted. I almost quit near the beginning since it was pretty much unplayable but it was tolerable when I was on my own. I tried to avoid other people, but I only raced hard at the end since I wanted that podium. If soka and I were the ones lagging to all the Brits it makes sense since we were the furthest away (and good wolf), whereas everyone was lagging to me, but only side to side, not forward and back, but that's standard for 1 star rooms. It should be common knowledge that anything under 3 stars doesn't work. At all. Now I know how everyone felt in the rain at Nurb.

The 1* room was an error on my part and if all participants are happy I will re-run this race into weeks and then the finalé at Circuit de la Sarthe a fortnight after that.
All those that attended need to want a re-run so that everyone is willing to forego the results of this particular race / debacle.

In future if anyone notices anything amiss, please tell me. Wasting a couple of minutes of my time is much preferable to wasting hours of everyone's time.

I only noticed when the clock was counting down to qualifying

I'm away so not really bothered about if it's re-run or not. The first couple of laps were pretty annoying, soka was crabbing down the straights, through the corners and it was almost unable to follow and put him under pressure as I didn't know where his car was going to appear. Then I settled down, pitted and kept coming out behind cptcpt, megg and boy blue. Then the same thing happened with blue, I just didn't know where his car was going to be so couldn't apply pressure and pass. Worked out in the end tho, last stop a Lil splash and dash and I got in front of them all.

For me there was some lag at the beginning of the race and that's why I ran into boyblue. No wonder you guys had problems at Arena and were all over the place. At the time I thought there was an accident and I was regretting my incident because I could've get some places so I'm for a re-run as well.

Tonight we visit Silverstone for race 5 of Type R Cup.

A polite reminder to respect the track limits here as it is easy to run wide at a few corners here with little penalty (copse, Stowe and club).
Meaning a lot of work for me retrospectively, if boundaries are breached often enough. I know all drivers here are capable of keeping within the limits and we are human, so I wouldn't expect everyone to be 100% clean. Though that is the aim.

Room will be open around 20:00 BST. PSN message will be sent to those online.

See you on track 👍
Tonight's room should be open from 20:00 BST for the re-run of Silverstone. Without the 1* lagginess.

Will the people who aren't racing tonight who raced at the first running of Silverstone still getting points for where they finished last week? (I'll be there later)

This was one of my considerations that I have thought about over these last few days. I have come to the conclusion to not award points based on the first race finishing positions of the non-attendees.

Back to business. Your eventual winner of Silverstone. SokaGT-Racing

With points looking like this.

By not awarding points for original attendees battles for mid-table championship positions will be fought over in the coming finale. Which I feel can only be a good thing.

As we move onto the final race Soka's near dominance has secured his championship win before the green flag and theewar has a solid hold on second place, for the second time. Leaving Megg230 and GTP_Cpt_D, the last series champion, to fight it out for 3rd.

All this barring no freak events to upset this foreshadowing.

For the final race, time progression will be set to 24 and weather to start at 10% with changability of 4.

lap times are currently peaking at 4:10. I am at 4:19 :ouch: So I've quite a way to go.

Tonight we will visit Circuit de la Sarthe for the finalé of Type R Cup 3. As usual I'm drastically under prepared. With the very different nature of this track verses previously run tracks, I fear I might not meet the competition here.

A reminder that tonight's settings will have time set to 24 (a full day and night cycle). Weather starting at 10% and a changability set to 4.

If memory serves, if you change tyres during qualifying, those will be the tyres you start your race on. Please bear this in mind if it rains sufficiency during qualification. (confirmation required)

Supplementary to this I will extend qualifying to 15 minutes as this track is somewhat longer than where we have raced up to this point.

See you on track tonight 👍

"LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!" So final race of the season, soka has it in the bag. Cpt and megg in the battle to secure third in the championship. Going to be an awesome nights racing. This and the mazda 500pp at deep forest will be my last two on the ps3, after this I'll be moving onto the ps4 and p-cars. Most have already made the switch, and only a few left to come over. I'm sure it won't be long tho. See you all tonight.

First. Congratulations to all who saw this series through to it's climax. Not helped by GT6's flaws and the aging PS3 system. which makes me all the more appreciative for all the efforts you, individually, have gone through.

On to business. This final race was always meant to be a race where strategy mattered as much as pace. I was pleased to see drivers mention about the strategic thinking required after the chequered flag.

Your winner for this event theewar

which leaves the final points table looking like this

and GTP_Cpt_D taking the third spot on the overall podium.

Thank you all for making this what it was. Without you guys taking part, this would all be for nought.

And finally. With the advent of GT Sports on the horizon and, as yet, no confirmed Honda cars I am provisionally putting Type R Cup to bed. Pending details and a greater understanding of the way GTS will operate, TRC may return.

In the meantime, I'm certain I will see some of you on track 👍
