There's usually a slot in the grid if you are interested. And currently only 14 active drivers on the books.

Some of the drivers practice nightly or almost that frequently. I'm not as able to do this so much these days. If you are able, join the R/500 Arena club mentioned near the top of the OP. I'm sure you'll be able to hook up with some of the other guys.

Sounds great ! I'll be pleased to take part in the next race on Suzuka GP if possible then :D I'll update my PS3 tomorrow and join the club. Already on my way to buy the car :)

I've had chance to update the points table.

I have a weather update for this coming weekends race. The forecast says no rain for the duration of the race. I will translate this into room settings and update accordingly.

In other news I will not be able to host a practice session on the evening of Saturday 28th, due to a family birthday party. I will be able to host a room this coming Friday to give everyone opportunity to try the room settings.

Well looks like I may have a slight issue, my g29 decided to pass to the other side. Been having gear problems but didn't think anything of it. Tonight at suzuka it decided to miss the gear, change the camera view then pause the game, so looks like I need to return the wheel for a replacement. Hopefully I'll be doing this on Sunday, failing that I might be able to get my old dfgt for the race. Hopefully all will be good. Will let you all know what happens.

That's some bad news. I feel your pain. Having had a sticking gear down paddle on my T300 after only 3-4 weeks of use. It also mirrors what you said previously about having no luck in Honda's. I hope you manage to get it sorted.

In the meantime, expect tonight's practice room to be open by 20:30. If this changes, I will keep you posted.

Might not be able to get it exchanged till Tues! Wtf am I going to do till then? Don't fancy this social life carry on, lol.

Race day once again. Race 4 of 6 visits Japan and Suzuka circuit. A favourite of many Gran Turismo players and true for a few among the drivers expected tonight.

The lobby will be opened around 20:00 BST using a fixed weather set to 30% reflecting the real world conditions for the (game) time of day.

See you on track 👍

hi guys, is it still possible to join this competition altough it has already started? I'd like to join if possible, may it be just for the sake of getting some experience in competetive racing.

Yeah that's cool, only 2 races to go but there's practice rooms open most nights by the race stewards, add them and join the club. Then come have some fun.

thanks! looking forward to it. just a Quick question: what would the final PP of the car be if all the conditions are met? i followed all the rules and the car ends up at 514 PP

Now that the bank holiday + family have passed. I have time to do my post race admin.

Leaving a 4/6th complete points table looking like this.

Had SokaGT not ran wide on the final lap at 130R and missed his braking zone for Casio it may have continued to be a Whitewash. A full 28 lap long battle between theewar and Soka, decided in the penultimate corners.

Another interesting statistic (well to me at least) was 4 of the 8 drivers' fastest lap were within 0.05 seconds of one another 2:04.368 to 2:04.417.

Good racing at suzuka. Good battles with goodwolf and bloodyblue. How many times did i come past the pits only to see one of them exiting. Great stuff.

Well done, warren, good win.

Great stuff on the penalty's,gc, thats a lot of work. S/stone is one of my favorites with plenty of run off area................

It's always fun to race at Suzuka even when you're all alone.

My start of the Sunday race was fantastic after getting the third spot on the grid with 0.3 seconds to SoKa on pole.
First stint was very good but as soon the tyres started wearing off I lost the position to Weescotman.

On my second stint trouble with tyres continued for some reason and I couldn't get even into 04s, so as I had some time on B.BoyBlue, Megg and Cpt_D I decided to go an extra lap so I can push on fresh tyres and have some fun when at the end of the race I start making moves on them.

Getting out of the pits in front of Cpt_D made my job even easier and gave me more reason to push. But then disaster. What looked to be a promising stint turned out into a nightmare. I don't know what happened but during my 6 lap stint I was doing 07s and was forced to push so I was an easy target to Cpt when I got heavy on the brakes and made a mistake.

Not a race to remember for me but hard to forget.

A couple of days to go and I should be giving you a weather forecast. Which is currently about a 50% chance of rain. But you remember how that worked out last time :scared: see for yourself here.

I have no plan to recreate that past instability so will pick settings to give a similar track temperature, or as close as the game will allow but keep weather fixed.

I hope to have a room open tonight around 20:00 BST for some practice at the home of British motorsport.

Tonight we visit Silverstone for race 5 of Type R Cup.

A polite reminder to respect the track limits here as it is easy to run wide at a few corners here with little penalty (copse, Stowe and club).

Meaning a lot of work for me retrospectively, if boundaries are breached often enough. I know all drivers here are capable of keeping within the limits and we are human, so I wouldn't expect everyone to be 100% clean. Though that is the aim.

Room will be open around 20:00 BST. PSN message will be sent to those online.

See you on track 👍

Weather fixed at 50% still throws in rain. Might be dry when the race starts which would be good but some of the time we ran races last night it was racing the whole time.
