Fact:

It's the engine sounds that Polyphony Digital needs to work on. They never get it right.

I agree.

Its never been to much of a concern of mines but its definately been an issue for sometime with GT.
I remember a thread about the same issue before GT5P came out, and people referred to GT4's engine sounds which needed improvement.
But personally I think GT5P showed decent progress but, I expect more from GT5.

In the GT5P videos the skid sounds annoy me quite a bit. THey're too loud, obviously 'looped' (i.e. a short bit of sound repeated with clearly distinguishable 'restart points') and a pitch that sounds more like you're outside of the cockpit rather than in it.

I do hope they improve this in the final GT5!
