Mercedes are in the process of testing a revolutionary metal covering process that could do away with paint on cars. It will allow the changing of colours easily, removal of stone chips and scratches plus will make the car rust proof...........

my car's rust-proof anyway, without having to resort to Teflon coating. That thing wouldn't look TOO bad without those wheels.


...hang on, that'd be the "Liverpool look ", wouldn't it? :D

nah, that looks like its parked and its still got its wheels, never in Liverpool.... although someones nicked his Halfords wheeltrims...

Wouldn't it be great if you could order this colour scheme when the Maybach comes out. I'm busy in the 6th form. Trying to do some coursework thats due in 20 minutes :eek:

So here goes,my brother had 1 of these a Vauxhall Chevette in this colour,described so wrongly as chocolate brown.If that's not bad enough,it also had a rusted hole through the left wing :eek:
The caption for this "car" read..."Vauxhall Chevette riding the kerb."

Hey my dads sisters brothers uncles Cavalier can beat your brothers Chevette any day.... should have fixed that hole though, only takes a cornflakes packet and some bodge, give it that classic Chevette look :D

The first car I owned was very nearly a Chevette - the one with the angular bulged arches! Close but the Renault 5 GTL was the more sensible choice... mmmm... just like this one:
